Hey everyone! So excited to share that I was nominated for the Best Blog Award by Hetal from My Life in Turquoise. Thank you so much Hetal!

1. What is your favorite nail polish brand? 

That's hard to choose. I like a lot of brands but China Glaze has to be my favorite. I like their color selections and their formula/brush works well with my nails.

2. Which is the ONE nail polish you could not live without?

That's so hard to choose! I love any colors so only picking one is difficult. I guess Orly Ancient Jade since that color has been my love for a while now.

3. What is your number 1 tip about nail care?

Moisturizing! I used to never moisturize and that made my cuticle area so dry and flaky. Now, I make sure to moisturize them at least two times a day. Once in the morning and once at night.

4. What is your favorite blog?

Chalkboard Nails. Her swatches and photos are amazing! She has some wonderful reviews and nail art designs/tutorials too. She's someone that inspires me and I would love to be able to have a blog as great as hers in the future.

5. What advice would you give to new bloggers?

Start for the right reasons. Don't start blogging because you want free stuff but because you love what your sharing with everyone. You don't want blogging to be a chore for you but something you look forward to doing. People who share the same passions as you will notice as well.

6. What is your favorite manicure that you have posted on your blog?

There's a few but I have to say my leopard print manicure that was inspired by a fashion item. It was my very first time doing an animal print design and it turned out way better than I expected. Plus, I used colors that worked really well together.

7. What is your favorite time of the year and why?

I love the winter season. I'm a fan of the colder weather than the hotter weather since I hate sweating. Plus, when everything is covered in snow, its like a winter wonderland outside here in Canada.

8. How often do you change your manicure?

Every two days or so. I have a lot of nail polishes so I want to make sure that I wear everything in my collection at least once.

9. What other hobbies do you have (other than nail polish and nail art)?

I love to cook/bake. I don't do it as often as I would like but its been something I loved since I was little. My mom and dad owned a family restaurant when I was younger so I got started at a young age. I also like to draw in my free time too. I'm not the most talented artist but I'm better than the average person.

 10. What is your favorite TV show?

The Vampire Diaries. I used to think it was so cheesy when it first came on television but one day, I stumbled across an episode and suddenly fell in love with it. I'm so excited to see the season finale this Thursday!

11. What destinations are on your "list of places to visit"? 

Basically any place since I've never traveled anywhere outside of Canada or within Canada for that matter. To be specific, my main destinations to visit would be Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong.
