Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud

Wednesday, June 26, 2013

Hey everyone! I've been quite productive for the past few days. I finally got my hands on some melmers to organize my collection in and I've been swatching my polishes on nail sticks. I've been doing some nail art manicures for a few challenges as well as writing up some posts in advance. Its been a while since I've been this busy in my free time. Anyways, let's see what I have to show today!

Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud is an extremely light pastel lavender purple creme. This polish almost looks white except for the touch of purple to it. Formula was on the watery side so it tends to want to flood the cuticle area so I had to be extra careful when applying the color. I applied two coats below.

I like how this color is almost white but its not quite there with the touch of purple to it. Great to wear on the nails if your not a fan of just wearing a stark white. What do you think of this color?

  1. It's funny - I can see the lavender right around the edges near the cuticle - I wonder if the formula is not great and the pigment doesn't mix well with the base? Regardless, it's a pretty color!

    1. Maybe its just the lighting? The pigment in this polish is mixed well in the bottle. No idea why it showing like that, lol.
