Twinsie Tuesday: Interlocking Design

Tuesday, July 29, 2014

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is interlocking design. I'm excited for this since I haven't done much interlocking designs on the blog so I went with some classic puzzle nails. I did get inspiration from Meliney on her video tutorial, 5 Ways To Create Puzzle Nails.

Yellow and Blue Interlocking Puzzle Nail Art

I used OPI Fiercely Fiona on all the nails. Using striping tape, I taped off two square sections and painted them with Sally Hansen Pacific Blue. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.

I had trouble with these but I think they turned out okay for my first try. What do you think?

  1. I think you did a really good job on the design! :) I think with different polishes it might work better though I think the yellow is a bit sheer but otherwise it's perfection! :)

    1. Thanks and I agree with you 100%! I wasn't expecting the yellow to be so sheer so it made it difficult to work with. The blue was also kind of thick so when I was peeling the striping tape off, it was pulling the polish off since it dried so fast.
