Twinsie Tuesday: Inspired by a Pattern

Tuesday, November 8, 2016

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is inspired by a pattern. I was lacking inspiration so I went and tried to find a pattern to recreate on the nails. I found one that I liked so click here to see my inspiration. The original has a blue and grey color scheme but I wanted to change that up and decided to go for a purple and brown color scheme instead.

First, I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on all the nails. Next, I used the stamping marble technique to apply the base polish, American Apparel Dynasty, China Glaze What A Pansy, and Sephora by OPI Metro Chic. After that dried, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in White with stamping plate BM-422 from Bundle Monster. These took a while for me to create but I'm pretty happy with it overall. It looks so soft and pretty. The only thing I wished I did better was getting the stamping image more straight across on my nails. What do you think?
