Polka Dot Gradient

Wednesday, April 10, 2013

Hey guys! Today I have something different to show everyone. I'm not very skilled in nail art designs but I recently saw a cute manicure from Stephanie at A Little Polish on her Nail Challenge Collaborative post. You can see her design here.

I did a similar design but not 100% the same. Instead I used colors that I had available in my own collection. All I did was concentrate most of the dots on the tips of my nails and fade it upwards to create a gradient effect. I think it came out really nice and I can't wait to try out this design with different color combinations. The ideas are endless with it!

Would you guys like to see more nail art manicures from me? I've kind of been liking it even though I'm not the best at it and I only have a dotting tool to work with. Let me know and I can try to continue to do them.

What I Used:
Julep Base Coat
China Glaze Below Deck
Dotting Tool
Sally Hansen White On
Sinful Colors Folly
Orly Ancient Jade
OPI Top Coat

Have you tried this nail design before? If you have, let me know your thoughts on it. If not, would you wear it?
