Hobby Polish Bloggers May Challenge - Beach Inspired

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

Hey everyone! Here's my beach inspired manicure for the Hobby Polish Bloggers May Challenge. I've never really been to the beach so when I think of one, I usually think of how blue and clear the sky is. Occasionally there will be some birds flying around too. So, I decided to create a manicure based on this vision I  have of the beach.

I started with a sky blue creme using Barielle Swizzle Stix to represent the sky. Then with my dotting tool, I used Sally Hansen White On to create some fluffy clouds and with American Apparel Hassid, I created some simple birds flying in the horizon.

I think it turned out pretty good even though the little birds are kind of wonky looking. What do you think of my beach inspired manicure?

  13. Tee hee...when I first popped in I thought those were sheep on your nails. As soon as I read beach inspired I saw it. I have a thing for sheep...nothing perverted or anything, but I think they are cute...and they say we skew reality to what we want to see...so there's that. LMAO

    1. Haha I can kind see it being mistaken for a sheep. The fluffy white clouds are a little sheep shaped :)
