Hello to all my new readers! Just want to welcome you all to my blog. Today, I have some exciting to share. I got nominated by Veronica from Me Gusta Nail Polish and by Stefanie from Fairly Charming for the Liebster Award. When I first heard about this, I actually had no idea what this award meant. So, I went and researched it to get a better idea and understanding. Its basically a share the love post where you recognize your fellow bloggers to your readers.

This means when you get nominated, here's what you have to do:
1. Write up 11 random facts about yourself.

11 Random Facts About Myself
1. When I was little, my mom told me I always got mistaken for a boy.
2. The only pet I ever had was a fish. It was those really small ones that could be used for food for bigger fishes too.
3. I'm super close to my sister who's one year older than me. Were best friends!
4. My favorite color is blue.
5. I think I'm pretty good artist. I used to sketch a lot during summer vacation when I was in high school.
6. I don't go shopping a lot for clothes because I take really good care of the ones I own. I still wear some clothing items from when it was bought in my high school years.
7. I'm super shy in real life so it's hard for me to make friends.
8. I love to watch television to the point where me and my sister have a scheduled time at 8pm to watch shows together every night.
9. I'm still unsure on what kind of career path I want to pursue. I'm that kind of person where I don't really excel in a certain subject/area.
10. I've never traveled outside or within Canada. The farthest place I've been from BC is Victoria.

Questions from Me Gusta Nail Polish
1. Do you have any siblings?

Yes! I have two older sisters and one older brother. My oldest sister is 5 years older, my brother is 4 years older, and my second sister is a little under a year older than me. I'm the baby in the family :)

2. What is your favorite food? 

I have a lot but if I had to choose, it'll probably be Hawaiian pizza. I don't eat it often but when I do, it so yummy.

3. What is your favorite nail polish?

I love any nail polish but at the moment, I'm loving Orly Ancient Jade. Even when I'm not wearing it fully on the nails, I used it a lot in my nail art manicures that I post up.

4. Do you have any other hobbies?

I love to cook or bake. Every time I make something from scratch, my siblings all want to eat some. My most famous dish is tomato spaghetti. I actually learned how to make it in food class in high school so its a super easy recipe for me to make for my siblings.

5. What was your most embarrassing moment?

Well, I recently went to the a grocery store where a post office was located inside to mail out a package. When I was leaving the store, I accidentally went to go walk through the in door instead of the out door. So I was basically trying to open an automatic door that wasn't suppose to open. Good thing there wasn't anyone there to see me other than the cashier there...

6. What's your favorite genre of books to read?

I don't read a lot of books but if I had to choose, probably something with action/adventure. I want to read a story that has a exciting plot that can keep me engaged.

7. What is your favorite brand of nail polish?

I love all the brands out there but if I have to choose, it would be China Glaze. I really like the color selections they have and the collections they release each season are all awesome. Their brush and formula works really well for me too.

8. Do you have a bad habit?

I pick at my nails, mainly my cuticles when I'm watching television or when I'm bored. I know its bad for me so I've been trying to stop it recently. So far, I haven't done it as much as I used to.

9. What do you like most about yourself?

When I set my mind on doing/finishing something, I get it done. I like that about myself because instead of worrying about what ifs, by doing what I say I'll do, I'm accomplishing things I might regret not doing in the future.

10. What is your ideal vacation?

Going to Korea, mainly Seuol. I'm a huge fan of Korean dramas and Korean music groups. Plus, it looks like a beautiful place with a lot of cultural buildings and sites to visit. I would love to go with my sister too since she loves to watch Korean variety shows. I'll also shop a lot there because they have brands like Etude House, Peripera, and Tony Moly that's not easily accessible to me in Canada to try out.

11. Are you a rule breaker?

Not really. I'm the kind of person that sticks to the rules but occasionally I break them if they don't have huge consequences for me.

1. How many polishes do you have in your stash?

Just counted my stash and I have 170 nail polishes in my collection.

2. What are your current lemmings/polishes you are dying to have?

I've been wanting to try out texture polishes from any brand. I have yet to and after seeing so many posts on them, its making me want to get some now.

3. What is your fave type of polish to wear (e.g. glitter, creme, holo, jelly, glass flecked, etc.)?

I like any finish but right now I'm loving creme. Its so glossy on the nails and I just love any polish with a creme finish. Plus, I can add any type of glitter on top if I want to add some sparkle to my manicure.

4. What is your favorite nail art technique to do?

Definitely dotting if you can't tell on my blog. Its super easy to do and there's endless possiblies with it in terms of colors you can use and the size of the dots you can create.

5. How long have you been painting nails/into nail polish?

I've been into nail polish for about 3 years but only recently did I really get into it. I use to paint my nails once in a while but now I have nail polish on my nails almost every single day without fail. My nails feel naked without them painted now.

6. What are some of your favorite blogs to follow?

Chalkboard Nails, The Nail Network, The PolishAholic and Nails by Kayla Shevonne just to name a few. They all have awesome qualities on their photos and wonderful reviews to read.

7. Which Summer polishes are you most looking forward to purchasing?

From what I've seen other nail bloggers swatch, I'm most looking forward to purchasing polishes from the Essie Resort 2013 Collection and probably some texture polishes from Zoya.

8. What is a popular fashion trend that you wish would disappear into oblivion?

I don't really keep up with fashion trends much but I'm not a huge fan of the full on sheer tops. I don't know what it is about them but when I see others wearing it, its like what's the point in wearing sheer tops when you can see right through it. It doesn't make sense to me.

9. What's your favorite TV show?

The Vampire Diaries! I'm obsessed with that show. Its funny though since when it first came on, I thought it was so cheesy. Then one day, I watched an episode from season 2 and fell in love with it. I have yet to watch season 1 fully but I'm planning to get to that sometime.

10. What's your favorite movie?

I'm not a movie kind of girl but one I've always loved is Finding Nemo. I watched this particular one in class in high school I believe and I cried during one point in the movie. I'm so excited that there's a sequel coming out too! I can't wait for Finding Dora, its going to be awesome.

11. Do you hate me for nominating you because you'll now have to go thru this time-consuming process yourself??  :P

A little but I still love you, haha! I had two sets of questions to answer so this post took a little extra work to get out in a timely matter.
