Good morning! For today's post, I'm doing a 3D manicure for the Step Into Summer Challenge hosted by the Hobby Polish Bloggers. I was a little stuck on what to do since I don't have any nail art decorations that would make my manicure look 3D. Then I remembered a video from MissJenFABULOUS on making a 3D polka dot manicure so I decided to recreate that. Let's see how it turned out!
For my base color, I used Spoiled by Wet n' Wild Plastic Flamingo. Taking American Apparel Hassid, I dotted on dots with my dotting tool. After letting that dry, I took Sally Hansen White On and dotted dots on top of the black dots but a little off of the side so the black was still peaking through. This creates a shadow effect making the dots seem 3D on the nails.
It turned out really cute and it was so easy to do!! Definitely something I would rock with different colors too. What do you think of my 3D manicure?
Be sure to check out the other manicures for this challenge below!

Oh that is so clever, I don't have any 3D decorations either and have been wondering on how to work around that. This pink is so nice and the 3D effects are brilliant!!
