Oh Mon Dieu! 31 Day Challenge Day 10 - Metallic

Good morning! The summer is starting to really hit where I live. Its been super hot and warm the past few days. I'm starting to get a bit of color too from all the sun which is a good thing since I'm pretty pale. With all this heat though, its kind of feels uncomfortable when I do my nails which I don't like. Let's see what manicure I have today for the Oh Mon Dieu! It’s the Rather Awesome 31 Day Challenge though.

For day 10, the theme is metallic. Metallic polishes are one of my favorite finishes to wear so I was excited to create a design. Let's see what I did.
 

For my base color, I used Orly Ingenue. Taking Color Club Berry and Bright and Color Club Ho-Ho-Holly, I added short stripes on the tips of my nails. I wanted them to be mismatched so there all different lengths. I finished it off with my OPI Top Coat.

Funny enough, this turned out way more festive than I wanted it to be. It feels like a Christmas manicure to me with the red and green tips. Regardless, I really liked how shiny and metallic this looks. I might try this design out with different colors that's not as holiday feeling as this is. What do you think of my metallic manicure?
