Good morning everyone! I have some free time this morning and afternoon since I have a later work shift today. So, I'm planning to do some manicures and organize my collection. Can you believe I'm still working on it? I've swatched as much as I can but I didn't like how I labelled them so I found another way to do them. I'm planning to print the names on some full sheet shipping labels, cutting it out, and sticking them on the swatch sticks. I hope it turns out good. Let's see what I have for today's Oh Mon Dieu! It’s the Rather Awesome 31 Day Challenge.
For day 21, the theme is stamping. I got a Bundle Monster Stamping Plate set a while back from Nail Polish Canada but I didn't get to try them out until this challenge. This manicure is my first actual try and result of my newbie stamping skills. Let's see how I did.
For my base color, I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. For my stamping, I choose a full image design from BM-301. I decided to do a gradient type look so I choose three colors to stamp with. I used Cynthia Rowley Mint, Sally Hansen I Pink I Can, and Ulta Sun-Sational. Finished it with a coat of my Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
Surprisingly, my stamping skills didn't turned as bad as I thought it would be. I always thought it was hard to do stamping but I really like how this turned out. Its not perfect but if I practice more, I'll hopefully get better at it. What do you think of my stamping manicure?
