For day 23, the theme is music themed. When I first think of music, I think of all the musical notes that outline a page. I actually used to play the saxophone in high school for about a year and I was always intrigued by the musical notes I had to read and play to. So, that's what I decided to do on my nails.
I started with Nicole by OPI Spring Break on all my nails except for the pointer finger. On my pointer finger, I have on China Glaze Riveting as an accent nail. I used striping tape to create four skinny lines on the bottom half of my nails to represent the lines musical notes are placed on. Taking American Apparel Hassid, I painted it on top and quickly peeled off the tape. Then I took my dotting tool and a toothpick to create the musical notes randomly on my nails. Lastly, I applied my Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
I love how this turned out! It was a bit time consuming waiting for everything to dry but the end result turned out great. What do you think of my musical notes manicure?
This is very beautiful and neat!
