Oh Mon Dieu! 31 Day Challenge Day 7 - Holo

Sunday, July 7, 2013

Happy Sunday! The Oh Mon Dieu! It’s the Rather Awesome 31 Day Challenge has really been taking the majority of my time. I have some other nail challenge manicures and reviews I need to post up so expect to see some double posts this month. I don't normally post two times a day but I'll make an exception this month since I really want to share them with you all as soon as possible.

For day 7, the theme is holo. I don't own much holo colors so I worked with what I had. Let's see what I did.

Holographic Nails

First, I have Gosh Holographic Hero on all my nails except for the ring finger. On my ring finger, I did an accent nail with Sephora by OPI Worth My Weight. I wanted more bling to my manicure so I decided to do another accent nail on my pointer finger. Taking American Apparel Light Year, I dabbed the glitter on top. I finished it all off with my OPI Top Coat.

I really liked how this turned out. The glitter was a glitter sparse so I had to pack it on my pointer finger which led to a little bubbling but other than that, this was super easy to create. What do you think of my holo manicure?

  9. Very nice. It would have been easy to take this mani to a place where it was just too much, but you kept it in a really good place. Awesome!
