Oh Mon Dieu! 31 Day Challenge Day 8 - Matte

Hey everyone! Whew, this past week has been so busy for me. I worked the most hours this week since I started my job so I had very little to almost no time to take any pictures for my blog. Good thing I had some posts ready beforehand. This week, I have a couple of days off so I'm taking full advantage to get some stuff done for my blog. Here's another Oh Mon Dieu! It’s the Rather Awesome 31 Day Challenge for you all.

For day 8, the theme is matte. I don't own any matte top coats so I couldn't really create a true matte manicure. Instead, I decided to use some matte looking glitters. Let's see what I did.

Starting with my thumb, I have on China Glaze Lemon Fizz, Misa Green with Envy, China Glaze Starboard, Barielle A Bouquet For Ava, and OPI Dim Sum Plum. Taking Amy's Nail Boutique Roxy, I layered this glitter over my ring and pointer finger. Then taking Nostalgic Way Harsh, I layered this glitter over my remaining nails.

You can't go wrong with a skittle design. I didn't add top coat since I wanted the matte glitters to appear more matte than glossy on my nails. This may not be a true matte design but I think I did well with what I had. What do you think of my matte manicure?
