The Nail Challenge Collaborative - Flowers Week 2

Hello again! I'm back with my second manicure for this month's flower theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I've been watching a lot of nail tutorials and was inspired to recreate one of them. I decided to recreate a nail design by bubzbeauty. She did some Arty Floral Nails. This design is actually pretty similar to the Marimekko flowers I did recently. Let's see how mine turned out.

Starting with my pinky finger, I used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint as my base color. Taking striping tape, I tapped off my nails in vertical stripes and painted on Sally Hansen White On and peeled it off while it was still wet to reveal stripes.

For my ring, pointer, and thumb finger, I started with a base color of Sally Hansen White On. With my dotting tool, I created some simple flowers using Nicole by OPI That's Totally Red-ical and Nicole by OPI Spring Break. With China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint, I dotted the center of each flower. Then taking American Apparel Racoon, I dotted the center of that and added some stems using a toothpick.

For my middle finger, I used Nicole by OPI That's Totally Red-ical. Using my dotting tool, I created a polka dot design with Sally Hansen White On. Finished this design off with a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

These are so cute right? I loved how it looks. There's so much different colors you can use with this design too. What do you think of my arty floral nails?
