I actually wasn't planning on getting the OPI Shatter polishes after hearing everyone's thoughts on Facebook but in the end I went ahead and got them. I haven't played with them yet but I think there a nice additional to my collection even though the trend is kind of over already. Plus, I got my first texture polishes which I'm so excited to try out and to see how I like them. What has everyone else been hauling?
Oh wow. What a wonderful haul! I saw many favorites that I use all the time and then some lemmings too. You got a fabulous deal on some great polishes; Nailtiques Formula 2 is what I use and it's pure magic in a bottle for those peelies. Too bad I don't live next door, I would love to come to your house and play with polish for an afternoon!

The frame with OPI Flashbulb Fuchsia some in there don't look quite right for the names...maybe it just was the lighting...the names are not L-R - excuse me...I am a huge OPI fanatic from back to when they first started up - I am older and have collected since they first fired up. You got the first release batch of the Katy Perry Not Like The Movies...good going! That one is really hard to come by...folks get confused as to what that one should look like..and there were only so many in the first batch released that do have the amazing color shift...that is one of my favs...if you don't have it already and you do like fuchsias/magentas...you need to get a bottle of Let Me Entertain you - I think it's the very best ever magenta OPI ever has done.

Yeah, I think the lighting is making some of the colors appear much different than it is in real life. Good to know I got the original version of Not Like The Movies, I had no idea.

ReplyDeleteI have NOPI Alex by the Books and Am I Making Myself Claire? and those are both amazing 2 coaters :) I also have the 2013 Color Club Halos which have amazing formulas especially for halos... I think the 2012 ones have the same formula too
I have to warn you American Apparel Neon Blue is a HORRIBLE stainer... it stains worse than anything else I've ever tried... such a shame it's a gorgeous color and it has a really nice buttery formula but because of the staining I only ever wore it once and it now just sits in my junk pile :(

Haha don't be! I'm sure you can find similar textures from other brands but I agree that Julie G does seem hard to find in Canada.
