Pebble Stones and Glitter

Monday, September 2, 2013

Hello everyone! I have a free day from work so I'm planning to do all my back to school shopping for some new clothes today. Its super late though since the first day back to college for me is tomorrow. I have another fun nail art manicure to show though. I was inspired by meliney to try out her Easy Pebble Nail Art Tutorial. The technique she used to create the pebbles was something I've never seen done before so I wanted to see how it worked for me. I can say it was pretty easy to do and the only really hard part was allowing a lot of time for the polish to dry afterwards.

China Glaze, KB Shimmer, Sally Hansen, Seche Vite

Starting with my pinky and pointer, I have on China Glaze Below Deck. I applied KBShimmer Bejeweled as a glitter accent on top. On the rest of my nails, I have on China Glaze Jungle Queen. While that was still wet, I quickly dabbed some blobs using China Glaze Mahogany Magic, Sally Hansen Evening Fog, and China Glaze Dress Me Up. After making sure everything was dry, I applied a coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.

This is such a lovely neutral manicure! The pebble stones turned out great for my first time trying them out. I get so much nail inspiration from Youtube tutorials like this one. What are some of your favorite nail Youtubers to watch? Also, what do you think of this pebble stone manicure?
