For my base color, I used Misa Taking Chances. Prior to painting my nails, I made homemade chevron nail decals by taking a piece of parchment paper and painting a coat of polish on it. After letting it dry overnight, I cut the chevron stripes with a pair of zig zag scissors. I used American Apparel Malibu Green and OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! for the chevron stripes. Lastly, I applied Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat.
I'm starting to get the hang of using my homemade nail decals. It does take some patience placing them on but the result always turn out great. I'm loving how the colors look together too. What do you think of my green and grey chevron nails?
