Good afternoon! Its been raining a lot these past few days so I haven't been in the mood to paint my nails. Plus, with all the homework I have, I can't seem to find a time to do them too. I am planning to do some swatching this Friday though just so I have some content to post on the blog. Let's see the polish I have today.
New York Color Starry Silver Glitter has blue and pale pinky lavender hexagon glitters packed with smaller fine holographic silver glitters in a clear base. The name suits it perfectly since it does remind me of a starry night. The glitter density is on the spare side but the formula was easy to work with. I like the less concentrated look it gives on the nails too since having a dense glitter is not always a good thing. I have one coat layered over Barielle Cashmere Or Loose Me.
This is such a pretty glitter! There's a lot of layering possibilities with it too. I can totally picture this glitter over a black to create some simple galaxy looking nails. What do you think of this color?

What a pretty combo! I would've never thought to layer it over a brown.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marisa! Yeah, never thought of layering it over a brown too but I wanted to experiment :)

DeleteI wouldn't have thought to put brown underneath but it really works! :) I agree I like more sparse glitters sometimes... Cleaner less busy look
