Hello everyone! Today, I'm showing you a manicure I was wearing a while back near the end of my fall semester for college. Whenever I don't have a lot of time to spend on my nails, I usually go for something really easy. I'm a pretty minimalistic individual so I love simple nail art designs. This is no exception so let's see what I wore.
For my base coat, I applied Julep Nail Therapy. I started with Pure Ice Twinkle on all my nails except for the ring finger. For the ring finger, I did a texture accent nail using Julie G Sugar Rush. I finished with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat on all my nails except for the ring finger.
Most of the time when I wear nail polish, I usually only have on one nail color with the occasional accent nail. When I'm really busy with school or with my part time job, this is the fastest way for me to get a nice looking manicure without spending a lot of time on my nails. What do you think of this manicure?

Oooooh! I like this. That shade of coral looks amazing on you!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! It definitely made me feel like I had a tan or something, lol.
DeleteThe contrast between the two textures works really well! I agree, adding an accent nail is the simplest way to get a nice looking manicure quickly. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, the two colors worked surprisingly well together :)
DeleteWhat a refreshing colour in the midst of all the Christmas colours!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteWhat a great color! How many coats of the Pure Ice is that? It's So going on my wishlist.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amy! I believe it was three coats here :)
DeleteI really like the accent nail polish! So glittery!
ReplyDeleteMe too! I'm loving texture polishes a lot :)
DeleteI am HORRIBLE at picking out colors for my accent nail. They never look good/don't match but this works surprisingly very well together!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I just choose randomly to be honest. It doesn't all turn out that great but at least I get to try out new and different combinations I wouldn't have otherwise put together.
DeleteSugar rush is beautiful as an accent. Love the minimalist yet beautiful approach :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love my simple manicures :)

DeleteThis looks great! How are you liking the world of textures? ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! I'm loving textures, there so amazing! To tell you the truth, I couldn't stop stroking my accent nail when I had this on, lol.
DeleteThis color looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :)
DeleteBeautiful peach color, great combo!
ReplyDeletelove this combo! I don't do accent nails much because I always end up obsessing over whether the colors "match" or not lol... I really like how you used very similar colors just textured and non-textured looks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks and you should try experimenting with an accent nail. I usually just go with whatever I think would look good and even if it doesn't turn out great, I like that I at least tried something different :)
