I can't believe today's the last day of 2014. Its been a pretty good
year but I'm totally looking forward to what 2015 will have in store for
me. I'm going to be graduating in 2015 and finding a full time job
related to what I've been study so I'm excited. Anyway, here's a polish
swatch.
KBShimmer Bejeweled has a mix of various sized purple, teal, blue, and copper hexagon glitters with small silver bar glitters in a clear base. Formula and application was good. I did have to use the dabbing method to get the glitters placed where I wanted them to be but overall, it was a easy glitter polish to work with. This is one coat over Essie Sew Psyched with top coat.
This is definitely one of my most favorite glitters in my collection. I just love the mix of colors and glitter shapes in it. I did notice something strange with my bottle of polish though. It seems to have small silver bar glitters in it but looking at other swatches online, this glitter polish is suppose to contain only hexagon pieces. What do you think?

I've been all over the place recently on my blog. I've accidentally hit publish when I was still working on a post or I've accidentally published a post that wasn't ever suppose to go up yet. Anyway, here's a polish
swatch I'm sharing today.
Essie Sew Psyched is a muted army green/khaki with a slight silver shimmer to it. Formula and application was great on it. I don't own a lot of green polishes so this one was very flattering on the nails for me. The silver shimmer is much more noticeable in real life compared to the swatches I've taken below. This is two coats.
Such a great color that I'm glad to have in my collection. Only a few more pictures to share using my old camera and the rest afterwards will be taken with my new one. What do you think?

Here's my third manicure for this month's dots theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. This was inspired by The Dalai Lama's Nails from her post, 31DC2014 Day 23: Food Fight!. These aren't technically dots but I did use a dotting tool to create the design.
I used OPI Pink Friday on all the nails. For the splatter design, I used a combination of China Glaze Shore Enuff, Barielle Welcome Ohm, American Apparel Cameo Blue, and American Apparel Downtown LA with a dotting tool. I applied a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat and then on top, I mattified the nails with Julep Matte Top Coat.
I've done splatter nails like this before and really like how they look. Its great that I don't have as much of a cleanup compared to doing a real splatter manicure. What do you think?

I haven't been this excited in a while so its great to see that this one box lived up to its theme. There are some interesting and fun products in here that I'm excited to use. The most fun looking has to be the AHC Hologram Active Gen Serum. I can stare at the bottle all day, its so cool. I did wish it didn't expire so soon though along with a few items in here. Other than that little problem, this box is definitely one of my favorites so far. Which is a great thing for me since I've been a little underwhelmed and disappointed with a few Memeboxes recently. What do you think of the Memebox The Next Best Thing in Skin Care Box? Have you tried Memebox yet?

Merry Christmas everyone! I've finally decided on the new camera I'm getting and now I'm just waiting for it to ship and arrive in the mail. Super excited to get my hands on it. If your wondering, I decided to get the Sony Cybershot DSCW830. Here's today's polish swatch I'm sharing!
Different Dimension Santa Baby has a mix of white, red, pale pink hexagon and micro glitters packed with micro holographic silver glitters in a clear base. Formula and application was great so no fishing around needed. This is one coat over Sephora by OPI Let's Do Lunch with top coat.
This glitter is so very pretty and festive. Love the mix of different sized red, pink, and white glitters in here. The holographic shimmers in it adds such a pretty sparkle. What do you think?

Here's my second manicure for this month's theme of dots for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. These were inspired by The Nail Network from her post, TDOCNAS 2014: Day 7: Festive Dotted Nail Art. When I first saw her post, I knew I had to try it out. Its such a simple but cute way to wear some festive nail art for the holiday season right now.
I used Ciaté Cream Soda on all the nails. I took Color Club Berry And Bright, OPI Glitzerland, and Color Club Ho-Ho-Holly with a dotting tool to dot on random sized dots all around the nails. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I love how these turned out. Using festive colors like red, green, and gold makes it feel so festive even though I've done nail art designs like this one in the past. What do you think?

Sadly, with no camera to use, I wasn't able to create any manicure for this week's Twinsie Tuesday. Be sure to check the double holiday manicures the other ladies did though.

Hey everyone! The camera that I've been using since I've started blogging died on me last week. I'm on the hunt for a new one but there's so many cameras to choose from. I mainly want one that's affordable, easy to use, and can take a good picture. I'm split between getting a Canon or a Sony camera. So for the next week or so, all my posts that will be up was taken with my old camera before it died that I have yet to share. That means nothing new from me will be up until I finally decide which camera to get. If you have any suggestions on which one I should purchase, let me know down below. I do have a nail polish swatch to share today though.
Sephora by OPI Let's Do Lunch is a muted peachy pink with a orange bronze shimmer in it. Formula was a bit watery so I found that I needed to be extra careful with the application so that I didn't get bald patchy spots. There is a shimmer to this polish as you can see in the bottle but on the nails, you can't really tell. It mostly just looks like a straight up creme. This is three coats.
Great wearable everyday color in my collection but its not that much of an exciting color. I do think its a pretty flattering color on the nails. What do you think?

Here's my first manicure for this month's theme of dots for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. These were inspired by cutepolish from her video tutorial, Dotticure Nail Art. I haven't done any nail art in quite a while so its great to be back with one today.
I used OPI William Tell Me About OPI on all the nails except the ring and middle. For the ring and middle nail, I used Ciaté Cream Soda. Following her tutorial, I used a dotting tool to create the pattern with OPI William Tell Me About OPI, Jessica Tangerine Dreamz, China Glaze Escaping Reality, and Nabi Angel Blue. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
My dotting wasn't all too great but with this design, you can't really tell. I liked how these turned out in the end. Its such a fun and detailed pattern using just dots. What do you think?

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Memebox Green Food Cosmetics Box was good but not what I expected the box to be. I thought the products would contain more green food ingredients like broccoli for example. The products in here are nice but what I thought the box was going to be was the main reason I decided to purchase it. I thought this box will be similar to the Superfood Box I purchased a while back which I loved. So, I am a little let down but everything in this box are something I would use. What do you think of the Memebox Green Food Cosmetics Box? Have you tried Memebox yet?

When I first got the e-mail from Influenster that I was one of the lucky Canadians that would be sent a Keurig 2.0, I was so excited. I rarely ever get chosen to receive any of their Voxboxes so to say I was surprised was an understatement. I've always heard such great things about these brewing systems but I've never tried one myself. There was a variety of different models you could have gotten but I received the Keurig 2.0 K300 Brewing System which I thought was perfect for me since I'm such a newbie to the Keurig line of brewing systems.
The Features
- 60oz Water Reservoir
- Black and White Touch Screen
- 9 Brew Sizes
- Carafe included
The box also includes two K-Carafe Packs and four K-Cup Packs to start off with as well as a drip tray. As you can tell, I couldn't wait and had to brew one of the K-Cups to try.
With this new Keurig 2.0, you have the ability to brew a Carafe of coffee which basically means you have the option of brewing a pot of coffee as well as a single cup. The brewing system also gives you the option to make your coffee strong or not and has an option for hot chocolate/other specialty beverages. The are four different cup sizes to choose from (4oz, 6oz, 8oz, or 10oz).
My Experience
Being relatively new to the Keurig machines, I found the Keuring 2.0 K300 Brewing System very easy to use. The instruction manual gave me a lot of help on how to start and work the machine. Prior to brewing my first cup, I did run a few hot water cycles just to get rid of the plastic taste. Once I got the hang of the settings, the brewing process was easy. The hot drinks that I've brewed with this machine has all tasted great so far. I like that there's a variety to the drinks you can brew from coffees, teas, hot chocolate drinks, and other specialty beverages. The only thing to note with this model is that it doesn't come with a water filter starter kit so if you want your water filtered prior to brewing, you'll have to buy that separately.
The only bad thing with this machine is that your only able to brew the Keurig approved K-Cups. This means your K-Cups have to have this white outer ring around the top for the machine to accept and brew it for you. This kind of limits the choices of coffee you can brew. Other than this, this Keurig 2.0 K300 Brewing System was a dream to use.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I thought the Keurig 2.0 K300 Brewing System was great and very easy to use for a beginner like myself. Other than the issue with only being able to use the Keurig approved K-Cups, this machine was wonderful to use to brew a great cup of coffee. The option of brewing a Carafe of coffee is nice especially if you have a lot of people in your household who drinks coffee. I think this would make the perfect gift to give to any coffee loving person in your life.
If you want to connect with Keurig, check them out on Facebook and Twitter.
If you want to sign up for Influenster, use my referral link HERE.
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain referral links.*

Here's my Memebox Luckybox #11 unboxing! I purchased this box because I had some points to spend and its been a while since I've purchased a Luckybox. Since I've been buying so many boxes, with a Luckybox, there's always a chance I might get doubles. There was a little mistake on the information card for one of the items in the box but I got send an e-mail with the correction made to it. Let's see what's inside then.

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Memebox Luckybox #11 was kind of disappointing to me. I contemplated with getting this box or the Luckybox #10 one and I totally chose wrong. Compared to the Luckybox #10, I much prefer the contents in that box a lot more. I thought this box would be really good because on the Memebox site, it was titled as Super Luckybox #11. The products in here aren't too bad but I'm not very excited with most of them especially the Revecen Face Control Foundation. I don't know how I'm going to be using that. I also got a double of the serum in this box which I received in the For Dry & Sensitive Skin Box. What do you think of the Memebox Luckybox #11? Have you tried Memebox yet?
