Okay, so I've decided to use top coat on all the glitters I swatch and on the colors I think needs it. Thanks for all the helpful suggestions in my previous post everyone. I have some pictures taken beforehand so I'm still planning to post those remaining swatches and to start trying out the new top coat method afterwards. I'm excited with this new decision too!
Barielle Do Unto Others is a muted medium mint green creme. For some strange reason, the polish I have looks totally different from other swatches I've seen of it online. The other ones are much brighter and more turquoise so this bottle I have might be the wrong polish. The formula and application was great though. This is two coats.
I love minty green shades so I'm enjoying this polish a lot. What do you think of this color?

That's really odd! I've also seen swatches of it and yours isn't nearly as bright. It's still really pretty though. It looks kind of similar to OPI Mermaid's Tears.
ReplyDeleteIts so strange! Thanks Melissa, I'm still really enjoying the shade regardless. I agree, it really is similar to that color!
DeleteLove it!! I've been very pleased with barielle. I might have to track this one down.
ReplyDeleteThanks Amie! Yeah, there great! :)
DeleteI've never tried Barielle before... I might give it a try now that I know the formula is good :) the color is really pretty but not that unique in my opinion... reminds me of mermaids's tears by OPI
ReplyDeleteThanks and I agree that its not a unique color. I still love it though :)
DeleteI love this colour. It's really perfect for spring!
ReplyDeleteThanks and I agree!
DeleteLove that colour!
ReplyDeleteI love Barielle and this color is beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! I'm really liking Barielle a lot too :)
DeleteI do love this color on you.... so give it to me as it was given to you LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you! Haha :)
DeleteThis colour is gorgeous and really suits you!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteThis is a lovely mint! It makes me wish mint greens didn't give me lobster-red hands haha!
ReplyDeleteThanks Abby! Aww that's sad to hear you can't wear mint because of that too :(
DeleteI love minty green polishes too so I love this one. I think I like it even more because of the dusty quality to it.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cynthia! Great to hear your liking it too :)
DeleteWow!!! I loved this shade very much :D
ReplyDeleteThanks Radha! :)
DeleteThis one looks so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Claudia! :)
DeleteThis type of green is hard to capture. Maybe that's why the others look different…? Anyway, it's beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I think its most likely the wrong bottle because the swatches above look like that in real life too.
DeleteIt looks gorgeous on you! I adore this sort of shade x
ReplyDeleteThanks Char!
DeleteI only have a couple of Barielle polishes and that's because of a swap but this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks Autumn! Great to hear that you have some colors from Barielle too! My collection of them is small but I really need to look into getting some more after my no buy though :)
DeleteI love this! What a pretty, cool shade. And I have noticed that sometimes brands have a bit of a mistake and I have bottles with the same name but totally different shades!
ReplyDeleteThanks!! I guess your probably right on that too.
DeleteGreat dusty green Lisa!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Someone above suggested it looks like OPI Mermaid Tears-- guess I better pull that out of my stash and use it again soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Cat! Yeah, it does look similar to that OPI color too :)
DeleteI don't know what it's supposed to look like, but I'm a sucker for a greyed-out blue or green. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm happy to hear that :)
DeleteI know this post is pretty old but I just pulled this color out of my stash and it has faded. I checked my swatch wheel from when I first bought it, like 2 yrs ago and it was just as deep and bright as everyone's swatches online. Now it has changed completely...its similar to yours but even lighter. So strange, it's been sitting in a helmer so no sunlight, now I wish I would've worn it when I first bought it!
ReplyDeleteHow strange indeed. I bought this from someone online so its surprising to hear that the color is suppose to be brighter and deeper in color. I still quite like it like this though.
