I did smudge the design a bit with my top coat on the pinky but other than that I'm happy with this. What do you think of this neon spotted nail art manicure?
Neon Spotted Nail Art with Texture Accent
Monday, February 17, 2014
This is my second manicure for this month's theme of summer for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I've always wanted to do a spotted rainbow nail art design so I thought this would be the perfect time to create it. I've been into adding an accent to my manicures too so I threw that in here.
First, I started with Salon Perfect Sugar Cube on all the nails except for the ring. Taking American Apparel Neon Yellow, American Apparel Neon Orange, and Misa Lather, Rinse, Repeat, I dotted a horizontal line of each color with a dotting tool in various sizes. For the ring nail, I did a texture accent using Love & Beauty Purple/Silver. I finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat on all the nails except for the texture accent on the ring nail.
I did smudge the design a bit with my top coat on the pinky but other than that I'm happy with this. What do you think of this neon spotted nail art manicure?

DeletePerfect dotticure dude! I love the colors you used plus that liquid sand accent finishes the mani. :) I didn't know Love & Beauty made texture polishes -- do you like the formula?
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, I didn't know they made them too until I stumbled across them when I was browsing their online site a while back. I like the formula too :)

DeleteI really love the neon gradient dots! I had no idea forever 21 had texture nail polish... I'll have to go look for it! :) my stash is really lacking textures right now... I only have 3... I really love the ones I have and wish I had more but I was looking for a cheaper version so this is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm not sure if Forever21 is selling these texture polishes anymore though since I got them a while back but I hope you find them. There pretty nice for the price. I used to have no texture polishes at all but I got addicted to them so I have a bunch now :)
