I attempted to set up a light box that I purchased in my room this weekend and it was a complete fail. Its just too big to fit anywhere comfortably. I'm kind of disappointed since I bought it for the purpose of taking pictures with it but the size is just too big. I'm planning on making a light box instead and seeing how that goes. I did create one a while back but it was way too small that taking pictures with it was awkward. Keeping my fingers crossed that it works out.

Orly Emberstone is a shimmery bright cherry red in which the shimmer flashes orange and purple. Formula and application was great. The different colored flashes in the shimmer makes the red so unique in my collection. This is two coats.

I love this shade so much! When the light hits it, the flashes of color in the shimmer is stunning. What do you  think of this color?

    This polish is stunning! It looks great on you! It kind of reminds me of fire too! It's a shame your lightbox didn't fit anywhere!

    This is gorgeous!!! I have to see this beaut irl and I hope I have a chance. Orlys always sell out at both my local Ulta and Sally before I get to see them... I have yet to feast my eyes upon Sparkling Garbage irl.
    Light boxes are incredibly bulky, aren't they?! Like, surprisingly space consuming. I hope you find done thing that works for you but honestly, your photos are gorg as they are <3

      Thanks Liesl! Definitely check out this shade if you happen to stumble across it too :) Ah Sparkling Garbage is one of the colors from Orly I desperately want too.

      Light boxes are super bulky. I made one today but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. I'll need to take a test shot to see how the lighting looks. So expect to see at least one post with the light box used, lol.

      Aww thanks Gosia! The only reason I want to use a light box is because I want the lighting in all my pictures to be consistent. I don't like that sometimes its dark or super bright in certain pictures I take.

    I love the glass fleck shimmer in this polish it's gorgeous! I haven't had any luck with light boxes either... tried making one and ordered one online... I would either get shadows or it was too uncomfortable to hold my hand at the right angle... now I just take my pictures under a floor lamp with the arm rest of my couch as background :)

      That's one of the reasons I love this color so much. Yeah, no luck for me so far too. I just made a light box today but I'll have to take a test shot with it to see how well I like the lighting with it. My hands also feel so awkward posing in the light box too! I'll have to play around with what I have, I guess :)
