Spring is suppose to come but the weather in Canada where I live is still a bit cold. Its not really warming up but there are some days where the sun comes out for a while before it starts to get cloudy again. Here's a nail art skittle I created that's calling for Spring to arrive soon.
On the pinky, I used Jessica Tangerine Dreamz, Salon Perfect Sugar Cube on the ring and thumb, Spoiled by Wet n' Wild Plastic Flamingo on the middle, and China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint on the pointer. With a mix of these colors, I created different designs on each nail. For tools, I used a dotting tool, striping tape, and a fan brush. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.
I like how this skittle turned out. By using the same colors for the whole look, they went well together. I'm still loving that fan brush technique too since depending on the colors I use, it gives me such different looks. What do you think of this skittle manicure?

I like the way this came out! Each nail is different but since the colors are the same it still comes together really nicely :) my favorite is your thumb... I love dotticures!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, by using the same color scheme throughout, all the designs turned out well together. The thumb is a favorite of mine too, can't go wrong with a dotticure in my opinion :)

DeleteThis manicure really makes me crave the sun! It's the same here in England, one minute the sun is out but then it goes and hides again! Lovely mani and the colour choice and design are gorgeous xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Emily! The weather right now has been getting better here though. It was kind of hot and sunny the past two days which is nice to see :) Hopefully, it warms up over there for you soon too.

DeleteEvery time I see the fan brush techinique, I want to try it out.... then forget by the time it comes to do my next manicure. These colors are so bright and cheery. I don't think you can look at this manicure and NOT be happy <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Manda! Haha I know that feeling, I keep trying to remember to get back into stamping but then I don't or forget to when I'm dong my nails. Hopefully you can give this technique a try soon, I'm sure you'll do good at it :)
