Packaging
This toner comes in your standard bottle with a twist off cap. The bottle itself is is tinted so you'll have to look at it from the light to tell how much has been used. What I like about this packaging is the opening it has. Instead of just a regular opening, it has a smaller opening so that the product doesn't come out too quickly. You can tip the bottle over and the toner won't be spilling out. Its nice that it comes with a plug/stopper on it too so that it doesn't leak during shipping.
Texture and Scent
This toner has a liquid consistency like water so its clear in color. Since its a liquid, its absorbs into the skin pretty quick once applied. I will say it leaves a bit of a slight tacky feeling but nothing too uncomfortable or noticeable. The scent is nice. It has a kind of fresh smell to it. Nothing too noticeable if your sensitive to strong smells like me. Its quite a pleasant scent that I like.
How to Use
I pour out 4-5 drops onto the palm of my hand and pat it lightly all over my face until its fully absorbed. You can also apply this by soaking a cotton pad and patting it over the face.
My Review
After testing the Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner for over three months, I can say that I'm really enjoying it. This is the first toner I've used and I love how it makes my skin feel. I apply this toner after I cleansed or rinsed my face. Usually after I cleanse my face, I notice that my skin starts to feel dry if I don't immediately apply face cream. But when I apply this toner, it prevents my skin from feel dry and tight. Its a great step to prep my skin for the rest of my skincare routine. I can't say for sure if it balances my pH level but I can say that it makes my skin feel good when I have it on. It lasts for a while too since I've been using it twice a day both day and night. I've only gone through a little less than 1/3 of the bottle in three months. Its great for any skin type.
Final Thoughts
Even though the price is on the expensive side, I would still recommend this toner for someone who's looking for something light and effective in preventing their skin from drying out after cleansing.
