Roses and Leopard Print Color Block

Monday, April 7, 2014

I nicked the skin around my middle nail pretty badly over the weekend so I won't be able to take any pictures until its fully healed up. In the meantime, I still have quite a few pictures in my blogging folder to get through. For the next few days, I'll be showing you them instead.

Roses and Leopard Print Color Block Nail Art
Barielle, Julep, Sally Hansen, Essie, China Glaze, Born Pretty Store

I started with Barielle Gotta Have Fate on all the nails. Taking striping tape, I taped a chevron half moon and painted Julep Hayden on the bottom of the taped section. Before it fully dried, I peeled off the striping tape. For the ring and middle, I created roses using Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud and Essie Splash Of Grenadine. Added some leaves with China Glaze Starboard. For the rest of the nails, I created a leopard print with the two purples I used along with Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Black Nail Art Liner on the small section of the half moon chevron part. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri.

  2. I love the flowers! great color combination too! I hate it when I get cuts around my cuticle! partially my fault too though... whenever something starts flaking/cracking I start picking at it and make it wayy worse :(

    1. Thanks! That's totally what I do too. I can't help but pick the skin that's loose even though it always ends up doing something bad like this :(
