Mother's Day is coming up so I wanted to do at least one manicure to celebrate. My mother loves planting and working on her garden so I decided to do something inspired by that.
First, I used OPI Mermaid's Tears on all the nails except for the ring. For the garden inspired nails, I stamped with stamping plate BM-314 using China Glaze Starboard. For the ring nail, I applied Gosh Hot Coral and then for some glitter, I applied Oopsie Daisies With a Cherry on Top on top. Finished with a coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat on all the nails.
Red is my mother's favorite color so I incorporated that as a accent nail too. The stamping turned out pretty well and I like how subtle it appears. What do you think?

I really dig subtle stamping, and I think you did an excellent job picking colors that work well together.

DeleteI thought I commented on this from my phone but I just realized it didn't show up :( I really like the inspiration behind this mani too! I honestly had no idea what to do for a Mother's Day prompt I think taking something your mom enjoys and making a mani from that is a great idea :) I don't think I will have time to do a Mother's Day mani before I leave on vacation though... maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteThank you! I wasn't planning to do a Mother's Day nail art design too but I really wanted to dedicate a design to my mother because she's the best :)
DeleteBeautiful stamping! :) I'm not sure if I'm going to make a mother's day nail art. But I did give my mom an advanced gift. :))
