This month's theme for The Lacquer Legion is on holiday. I've always wanted to do a palm tree manicure so that I thought this theme would be a perfect time to do so. #LLOnHoliday

I used Essie Borrowed & Blue on all the nails. Taking Barielle Swizzle Stix and Misa Green with Envy, I applied these two colors with a fan brush. For some sparkle, I layered OPI I Juggle...Men on top. To create the palm trees, I used Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Black Nail Art Liner. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. My palm trees aren't the best but I think for my first try, they aren't too bad. I do like the one on my ring nail the most though. What do you think?

Pastel Themed Floral Nails

Here's my contest entry into Valiantly Varnished Spring Nail Art Contest. I realized after doing this manicure that I actually don't own a lot of pastels polishes. I basically have at least one color of the basic pastel shades so it was a little difficult for me to come up with a design. I went with a simple but cute design for the nails using my favorite nail art tool which is the dotting tool.

I used China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint on all the nails. Taking China Glaze Lemon Fizz and Julep Hayden, I applied these two colors using the saran wrap method. For the flowers and dots, I used a dotting tool to create them with American Apparel Coney Island, Essie Borrowed & Blue, and the other various colors I used previously. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.

I love creating flowers with a dotting tool so I like how these turned out. The pastel shades blended into each other a bit so it gave the nails a subtle look which I like. What do you think?

I got both colors because it was on a special deal. I like not fussing with my lip color during the day so this product seems perfect for me. Apple Red is a pink lip tint while Pink Grape-fruit is an orange lip tint.

Random Black and White Stamping

Here's my last manicure for The Nail Challenge Collaborative and this month's theme of black and white. I received two stamping plates from Michelle from Break rules, not nails from a giveaway she was having so I wanted to test out one of the plates here.

I used Milani White On The Spot on the all nails except for the ring. I stamped with Lily Anna 08 with American Apparel Hassid. I wanted to test out the plate so I used various designs off of it on the nails. For the ring, I used Girly Bits Howl at the Moon and applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store on top. This stamping plate is amazing! I love how you can see the details of each design so clearly. I might have to look into getting some more in the future too. What do you think?

Every Tuesday, I'm going to be posting a themed manicure for Twinsie Tuesday which I recently just joined. I'm excited to share this week's theme which is inspired by a beverage/food. I decided to go with some simple cupcake nails for this theme.

I used Barielle Do Unto Others on all the nails. For the cupcakes, I used Barielle Welcome Ohm, Born Pretty Store Sweet Color White Nail Art Liner, Sally Hansen I Pink I Can, and Gosh Hot Coral. I really like how these turned out! The black rose stamping really pops off the white here. The accent nail gives it a more girly touch too. What do you think?

Here's my review on the DAMOAE Therapy Shampoo and Therapy Tonic Set for everyone today. This is my first time reviewing hair products so I hope I was able to get do it justice. Let's hear what I have to say about these two hair products after using them for over two months.

Packaging
Both of them come in a cardboard box packaging. The DAMOAE Therapy Shampoo comes is in a red bottle with a pump application. The DAMOAE Therapy Tonic is in the same red colored bottle but with a spray application. The spray applicator is different from what I've seen because you can rotate it around. It also comes with a plastic cap. I like the packaging on both products because it makes using the products easier to apply for me.

Texture and Scent
The DAMOAE Therapy Shampoo has a gel like consistency and when I lather it in my hair, I feel like my hair is coated nicely. The shampoo has a yellow color to it. For the DAMOAE Therapy Tonic, its a light brown liquid that I spray on the scalp which makes it easy to absorb and massage into my scalp. Both products have a herbal sugary smell to it. I grew up with a similar smell to that so I actually do like the smell on it a bit. It reminds me of these herbal candies I used to eat.

My Review
After testing these for over two months, I can say I like both products. I don't have much issues with hair loss so I can't say for sure if using these helped to prevent hair loss for me much or even helped my hair growth. I can say its made my hair a bit stronger because I've noticed that I don't have much hair breakage as I did in the past. I also notice that when I'm working the DAMOAE Therapy Shampoo into my hair, I don't pull as much hair out as I do when I'm using my other shampoos and conditioners. The gel consistency helps to bond my hair together better so that when I'm rinsing the shampoo out, not a lot of hair is being pulled out. I usually use about three pumps of shampoo to help cover and lather my hair with.

For the DAMOAE Therapy Tonic, it was nice. I mainly concentrated the tonic around the front part of my hair because my hair tends to get thin around the area where I part my hair. I don't usually apply anything in my hair after I've shampooed it so spraying the therapy tonic felt a little heavy for me personally at the beginning. It did absorb into my scalp nicely when I sprayed and massaged the tonic into my scalp. I didn't notice any significant hair growth to the area on the scalp I sprayed it on but I felt like its helped my hair grower stronger and be less prone to breakage. I will say if you spray too much, you will notice your hair feeling a bit heavy.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I do like both the DAMOAE Therapy Shampoo and DAMOAE Therapy Tonic. I'm not suffering from extreme hair loss so my opinion on whether this works to prevent it isn't really accurate. Both products did help make my hair become stronger and be less prone to breakage so that's kind of in a way helped with reducing the amount of hair strains I've loss before using them. As for reducing dandruff, I didn't have much issues in that area so I can't say for sure if its helped. The price on it is pretty expensive considering I go through shampoo fast so having to buy this over and over again would add up. The smell might not be the most pleasant to others but I actually don't mind it. If you are suffering from hair loss and are looking for a possible solution to slow down the issue, I say give this DAMOAE Therapy Shampoo and Therapy Tonic Set a try. Its clinically proven to have worked for others with hair loss so I'm sure giving it a go wouldn't hurt especially if it does work out for you in the end.

Subtle Silver Stamping

Here's a stamping manicure today! This design kind of reminds me of the Reign Inspired Nails I did but in a silver stamping version instead of the gold I used there.

I used OPI I'm Suzi & I'm a Chocoholic. I stamped with BM-314 with Sally Hansen Celeb City. Finished with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.

I like how these turned out. The stamping image I chose to use had very thin lines in the design so it didn't show up too well here but I like the look it gave the nails. What do you think?

Butterfly Effect with Bow Stud

I'll be sharing some of my older nail art that's still in my blogging folder that I have yet to share for this week. I've been stressing a bit and thus picking at my nails a lot more so until they heal up, I'm not attempting anything on them.

I used Finger Paints Grape Gumball on my pinky and thumb, Finger Paints To-Teally Chic on my ring, and Color Club Love 'Em Leave 'Em on my middle and pointer. For the ring nail, I applied Windestine Jeweled Sand and then a bow stud from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Surprisingly, I like how these turned out. The butterfly stamping isn't the best but you can still tell what it is I hope. What do you think?

Pink Princess Nails

This is my last Born Pretty Store review on the items I got sent. Today, I will be showing my nail art manicure using a cute crown stud I got in a nail stud wheel set.

I used Zoya Kimber on all the nails. I applied Nail Pattern Boldness Is Someone Loving You? on the tips of the nails except for the ring for a gradient effect. For the ring nail, I applied it normally. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat. Before that fully dried, I applied a pink crown stud from a Born Pretty Store Nail Stud Wheel on my ring nail. Here's a closer look at the Born Pretty Store Nail Stud Wheel. This costs $5.80 for 11 studs which I think is a pretty good deal. What I didn't like was that I noticed that some of the studs in the wheel were missing rhinestones on them and that my wheel doesn't look 100% like the image of the nail stud wheel on the Born Pretty Store site.
