Tropical Paradise

This month's theme for The Lacquer Legion is on holiday. I've always wanted to do a palm tree manicure so that I thought this theme would be a perfect time to do so. #LLOnHoliday

I used Essie Borrowed & Blue on all the nails. Taking Barielle Swizzle Stix and Misa Green with Envy, I applied these two colors with a fan brush. For some sparkle, I layered OPI I Juggle...Men on top. To create the palm trees, I used Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Black Nail Art Liner. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.

My palm trees aren't the best but I think for my first try, they aren't too bad. I do like the one on my ring nail the most though. What do you think?

  3. cute palm tree mani Lisa! I've been seeing these palm tree manis everywhere with a sunset gradient background... I like that you did something different for your background. I like your palm trees too I don't think they're bad at all they look more stylized and kind of cartoon-ish in a good way! :)

    1. Thank you! I was planning to do a gradient background too but I decided not too since everyone seems to do that with palm trees and I wanted to be a little different. I'm happy to hear that you noticed that :)

  6. Lisa, your palm trees turned out really good! I haven't done those yet but I don't think they would turn out that well!! I can't wait to see what next month's Lacquer Legion theme will be! I love that OPI, the shimmer is so pretty!! Was it a part of the Cirque de Soleil collection?
