This is a review on some splatter studs from Born Pretty Store. There were some new nail art items that were released on the Born Pretty Store site and these were one of them. They instantly caught my eye just because I haven't seen studs with this kind of design before.
I used Zoya Bevin on all the nails. Taking Finger Paints Tough Art To Follow and then Sally Hansen Evening Fog, I used the brush on them to apply the color in random spots on the nails to create a camouflage print. I applied pink and black splatter studs from Born Pretty Store on the nails too. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.
Here's a closer look at the mixed splatter studs nail art wheel. This costs $4.38 but you can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. There are 300 studs and they come in six different colors in square and circle shapes. Like most studs I've received from Born Pretty Store, I like these a lot. There probably one of my favorites just because I haven't seen much nail studs that has such an interesting print/design to them. Each one is a little bit different from one another.
The design I did with them wasn't something I was 100% happy with though. I imagined it to be better but in the end, it didn't turn out exactly how I pictured it. What do you think?
*Born Pretty Store did send the mixed splatter studs nail art wheel for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain affiliate links.*

Cute! When I first glanced at them I actually thought the studs were roses, and that you'd put them on a forest-y background!
ReplyDeleteI like the look of those studs. Everything I have so far is just solid color. I like how this manicure turned out but can completely relate to the whole not matching the picture you had in your head thing. Happens to me all the time.
ReplyDeleteThanks and I totally agree. All the nail studs I have so far are solid colors too so when I saw these, I knew I had to get them. Yeah, I guess it just wasn't my day in terms of the design I was going for.
