Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is biggest splurge. I had to really think about this since I hardly ever purchase expensive nail polishes. Most of my polishes were purchased off polish sales so I got great deals on them. I went for one of my OPI DS polishes that I have in my collection for this theme. I got a lot of them on a discount but they still cost around $10 each.

I used OPI DS Tapestry on all the nails. I stamped with BM-405 using China Glaze Devotion. Finished with a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

This was my first time using the Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat and I like it so far. It dries glossy and pretty fast. China Glaze Devotion was a dream to stamp with too. What do you think? Be sure to follow Bundle Monster via their social media links down below for news and promotions!

Crisp and Delicious Apple Nail Art

Its been a while since I last did a manicure for The Lacquer Legion. I'm trying to get back into it so this month's theme is crisp. Since I haven't done apple nails yet, I decided to give those a try. I did three different colored apples and I'm very pleased with how they turned out. #LLCrisp

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. For the different colored apples here, I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz, American Apparel Downtown LA, and Essie Mojito Madness. For the leaves, I used a toothpick with China Glaze Starboard. For the stems and highlighting details, I used a black striper and a white striper from Born Pretty Store. Apples are one of my favorite fruits to eat so doing these made me crave some. I really liked how these apple nails turned out. There so cute. What do you think?

Precious Rubies with Rhinestone Accent Nail

I've been a bit behind on my reviews for Born Pretty Store. Here's another one showcasing some rhinestones. I own a few of their rhinestone nail art wheels already and have enjoyed them a lot. This one is no exception. I did a simple one color manicure with a rhinestone accent nail.

That's a good thing since I have so much variety to choose from now.

I usually do some nail art when I'm using rhinestones but I thought just using one color on the nails would be a nice change. This just shows how rhinestones can be used to jazz up a simple one color manicure too. What do you think?

Teal on Green Geometric Striping Tape Triangles

Here's my last manicure for this month's theme of geometric for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I felt so behind with this challenge but I'm happy to have finished it on time. This is a very detailed striping tape design that I did so let's see how it turned out.

I used Orly It's Not Rocket Science on all the nails. I created the geometric design using striping tape and painted China Glaze Exotic Encounters on top. Immediately after when the polish was still wet, I peeled the tape off. Finished with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.

I haven't used striping tape in a while so I forgot how awesome they are to create some very interesting designs. I originally wasn't going for such a detailed design this turned out to be but I'm so happy with the final outcome of it. What do you think?

Final Thoughts

It would have been nice to have brands not repeated twice. There was a good mix of different lip products from a gloss to tint to lipstick. Twinsie Tuesday: Neutral

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is neutral. Personally, I don't wear a lot of neutrals but when I do, I prefer darker tone ones. This neutral that I'm showing is probably one of my favorites.

I used China Glaze Below Deck on all the nails except the ring. For the ring, I did an accent nail using Color Club Love 'Em Leave 'Em. Then I stamped with BM-410 from Bundle Monster using China Glaze Below Deck and applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store on top. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Gold and Green Geometric Triangles

Here's my third manicure for this month's theme of geometric for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I hadn't made my own nail polish decals in a while so I did a geometric design using some triangle polish decals I made and cut out. They didn't turn out exactly how I pictured it though.

I used Ciaté Cookies and Cream on all the nails. The triangles were created with Orly Ingenue and OPI Mermaid's Tears. Finished with Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Top Coat.

I think if I had cute the triangles a bit smaller, they would have turned out better. The big triangles made it hard for it to lay entirely flat on the nails. What do you think?

Soft Sponged Colors with Tribal Print

I recently received the Bundle Monster 2013 "Create Your Own" Nail Stamping Set for review from Bundle Monster. I'm so excited to use these stamping plates since I already own two previous stamping plate sets from Bundle Monster and I've been really pleased with them so far. I wanted this set mainly because the designs were created by their fans.

I used Milani White On The Spot on all the nails. I lightly sponged on Jessica Tangerine Dreamz, Nicole by OPI Selena, and Barielle Swizzle Stix in random spots. I stamped with BM-402 and BM-403 using H&M Fabulous Nails Honey. Finished with Sally Hansen Diamond Flash Top Coat.

After doing these nails, I realize I have to practice lining up the images better. The stamping plates were great but I did notice that the images with the bigger spaces needed a lot more polish on them when scraping the plate off. If not, the stamped image would be a bit patchy. It was my first time using an image with such big spaces so it was my fault the stamping turned out a bit patchy, not the stamping plates. Other than that, these two plates are great to use for a tribal inspired design. What do you think?

Final Thoughts

The Shara Shara Soft Hand Gommage is the one that sounds the most interesting to me since I've never tried a peeling gel for the hands before.
