Happy Halloween! Here's my fourth manicure for this month's stripes theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I'm so shocked to see that I actually completed this month's theme since I started it so late in the month. I went with another hazy fan brush design using Halloween colors. These aren't technically stripes but they kind of resemble them.

I used Barielle Welcome Ohm on all the nails. With a fan brush, I applied Misa Green with Envy and Jessica Tangerine Dreamz on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I used I Love Nail Polish Pumpkinhead and applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifyng Top Coat.

I like how these look a lot. I think this is one of my favorite color combinations for this fan brush design so far. What do you think?

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Memebox Café Box was nice but I wasn't 100% in love with it. I was expecting a coffee or caffeine theme to the box but it has more of a café shop theme instead. I do like the products in here especially the TonyMoly Latte Art Cappuccino Cream-In Scrub because of the adorable packaging to it. Twinsie Tuesday: Halloween/Scary and Creepy

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is Halloween or scary and creepy. For this theme, I decided to do some spiders and cobwebs. I always freak out when I see a spider and it fits perfectly with the theme. I haven't done spiders or cobwebs before so this manicure will be my first try at them.

I used Sation Let's Mingle & Jingle on all the nails. I created the cobwebs using a white striper from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. I took the white striper, a dotting tool and a toothpick to create the spiders on the ring nail. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

These turned out okay. I'm not very skilled at using a striper brush so the lines didn't turn out too well. I did like how my spider design on the ring nail turned out though. What do you think?

Mummy Wrap Nail Art

This month's theme for The Lacquer Legion is "After Dark". I created my first mummy nails which I've been wanting to try out. I think it fits the theme pretty well because the eyes on them are glowing from within the darkness of the mummy wraps. #LLAfterDark

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. I sponged on Ciaté Cookies and Cream and China Glaze Dress Me Up on random spots. Taking a black striper from Born Pretty Store, I created the mummy wraps. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. I dotted on two white dots for the eyes and dotted American Apparel Downtown LA inside. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I think these turned out okay for my first try at them. I had a hard time making sure my lines were straight and even though. What do you think?

Candy Corn Stripes and Glitter

Here's my third manicure for this month's theme of stripes for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I wanted to do a Halloween theme for the nails so I did some candy corn stripes. This is also my contest entry into the Nail Polish Canada's Halloween Nail Art Challenge going on. If you like my design, please vote for me HERE.

I used Jessica Tangerine Dreamz on all the nails. I used striping tape to create the stripes and filled in the sections with Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights and Salon Perfect Sugar Cube. When the polish was still wet, I peeled off the tape to get clean crisp lines. I also applied Girly Bits Candy Corn on top. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I like how these turned out. The yellow, orange, and white candy corn combination is so classic for Halloween too. I'm not really into the scary nails for Halloween so I went with something more cute and festive instead. What do you think?

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Memebox Traveler's Beauty Kit Box was just an okay box for me. It wasn't a box I was interested in when it first got released since I rarely ever travel. After getting it and seeing all the products inside, I was a little underwhelmed. Nothing really jumped out to me and its a bummer that everything is so small in size. Since these products are suppose to be travel friendly, I get that there small to be make it more convenient though. Personally, this box was a bit of a miss for me. Twinsie Tuesday: Odd Inspiration

Today's Twinsie Tuesday is odd inspiration. I didn't really have anything odd to be inspired by on hand so I went with a makeup bag. It has a faux leather outside with a diamond shape design all over it. Inside, it has a burgundy red lining to it. Let's see how I interpreted that onto the nails.

I used OPI From A to Z-urich on all the nails. I applied a coat of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat to  make it extra glossy. When that's dry, I used striping tape to recreate the diamond pattern. I used Julep Nora on top and while the polish was still wet, I peeled the tape off.

I didn't apply a top coat at the end since I wanted the contrast of the glossy and suede finish to stand out on the nails. I think it turned out great for something I created on the spot. I know my inspiration wasn't the most oddest thing but I've never done a design inspired by something I own before until now. What do you think?

Neutral Lazer Tape Nails

Here's my second manicure for this month's theme of stripes for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I wanted something easy and a design I haven't done before so I went with lazer nail using striping tape. For the polishes I used, I went with a more neutral and fall appropriate color scheme.

I used Color Club Wild And Willing on all the nails. I used striping tape to make the random lazer design and then applied Ciaté Fade To Greige on top. When the polish is still wet, I quickly peeled off the tape. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I can't believe it took me so long to try out the lazer design since they turned out so good and were pretty simple to do. What do you think?

Purple and Silver Forest with Bow Stud Accent

I'm so behind on this month's theme of stripes for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I cheated a bit for the first manicure I have to show since there technically not stripes. I stamped using a forest looking image that had straight trees that kind of resemble stripes. Hope that's okay.

I used Essie Splash Of Grenadine on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with BM-407 using China Glaze Awaken. For the ring, I used Julie G Crushed Candy. On top, I applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Memebox Global #14 Box was a big hit for me. I knew what products were inside so I was already in love with it before I got it. The Recipe By Nature Golden Time Vita Capsule Essence was one of the main reasons why I got this box as well. I usually don't buy global boxes because it doesn't mainly focus on skincare which is what I'm looking for. This box just appealed to me since there was a good mix of skincare products and other beauty products I can see myself using. What do you think of the Memebox Global #14 Box?
