Twinsie Tuesday: Polish Roulette

Tuesday, October 7, 2014

Today's Twinsie Tuesday is polish roulette which means to grab two or more polishes at random and make them work together. I pulled out colors that I haven't really worn or used, closed my eyes and grabbed three random polishes out of the pile. Let's see what I did with them.

Blue Jelly Sandwich and White Crelly Combination with Bow Stud

First, I used Funky Fingers Jawbreaker on my pinky and ring. For the rest of the nails, I did a jelly sandwich using China Glaze Isle See You Later and then e.l.f. Fair Dust. I applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store on my pinky for an accent nail. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I love my bow studs so I experimented and made my pinky the accent nail. I was planning to do more but with school and work, I had to go for something simple. China Glaze Isle See You Later was sheer so I had to apply a lot of coats and it still showed visible nail line. This was my first jelly sandwich that I've done and I liked how how it turned out a lot. What do you think?

  9. Finger Paints has a Jawbreaker just like Funky Fingers? That's awesome since I can't get Funky Fingers around here.

    1. Oh sorry! I just realized that I put the wrong brand name on that polish. Its suppose to be Funky Fingers, not Finger Paints. Totally didn't realize my error. Sorry!

    1. It was pretty easy but I wasn't 100% happy with how they turned out. Hopefully, I can do another jelly sandwich manicure in the future.
