Pages in a Book

Friday, November 7, 2014

This month's theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative is inspired by a book. For my first manicure, I went with something very easy. I got inspired to do a design inspired by the pages in a book. Excuse the less than stellar lighting in my pictures. Its been cloudy and rainy where I live so lighting has been pretty dark.

I used Color Club Love 'Em Leave 'Em on all the nails. To speed up the drying time, I applied Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat. I stamped with China Glaze Awaken using QA67 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifying Top Coat.

Other than the less than pretty glare on my nails, I really like how these look. I went with a more neutral holographic as a base on the nails just to make it a little special than going for a plain off white creme. What do think?
