Twinsie Tuesday: Your Favorite Sports Team

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is your favorite sports team. To be honest, I was planning to skip this theme since I don't have a favorite sports team. I rarely if ever watch any sports. I decided to go ahead and do it though. Even though I don't have a favorite sports team, I decide to create a design for the Vancouver Canucks. My mom and sister love watching hockey so I thought I would try my hand on doing a nail art design inspired by them, particularly by their team colors.

I used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube on all the nails. Taking striping tape, I taped off sections of the nails to create this stripe pattern the Vancouver Canucks have on their jerseys a lot. Taking the two polishes, China Glaze Starboard and Essie Mesmerize, I painted in the taped sections. While it was still wet, I peeled the tape off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I've been stressed so I've been picking at my nails a lot more recently so excuse any redness or bumps you may see here. That's why I haven't been posting much manicures because I've been waiting for them to heal. Surprisingly, I love these a lot. There not full on hockey team nails but the combination of colors in this stripe pattern is nice. What do you think?
