Hey everyone! The camera that I've been using since I've started blogging died on me last week. I'm on the hunt for a new one but there's so many cameras to choose from. I mainly want one that's affordable, easy to use, and can take a good picture. I'm split between getting a Canon or a Sony camera. So for the next week or so, all my posts that will be up was taken with my old camera before it died that I have yet to share. That means nothing new from me will be up until I finally decide which camera to get. If you have any suggestions on which one I should purchase, let me know down below. I do have a nail polish swatch to share today though.
Sephora by OPI Let's Do Lunch is a muted peachy pink with a orange bronze shimmer in it. Formula was a bit watery so I found that I needed to be extra careful with the application so that I didn't get bald patchy spots. There is a shimmer to this polish as you can see in the bottle but on the nails, you can't really tell. It mostly just looks like a straight up creme. This is three coats.
Great wearable everyday color in my collection but its not that much of an exciting color. I do think its a pretty flattering color on the nails. What do you think?

beautiful color on you
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteSo pretty! This could definitely pass as a Marsala shade as well! I have a DSLR that I still can't really use to the best of its ability, so I'm not much help on the camera issue...
ReplyDeleteThanks Sarah! I would love to get a DSLR but I find them to probably be too bulky to use and I'm not really all that camera smart.
DeleteMe too- I think they do sell compact DSLR's now. Sony had one before that I was looking at, but it was out of my price range.
DeleteAwww oh no Lisa. :( I hate when cameras conk out. Personally, I love the Sony Cybershots. I've had three over the years. I have the W830 cybershot right now. Hope you find a good one! Maybe with the holiday sales you will find the perfect one.
ReplyDeleteI was so sad when it did. It still works but the image in the camera is all dark and out of focus so something is totally wrong with it. I was so eying that exact model of the Sony Cybershot! Its on sale right now for a pretty good price and since your photos always look so good, I might purchase that one.
DeleteMe too, they are very bulky. A few companies have compact DSLR's now. Sony had one before, but it was out of my price range at the time.
DeleteLove this - it's in my stash too -- I always seem to come back to shades like this for eons now -- in the 80s I started to wear shades in the adobe range (one by Este Lauder I liked was called Adobe even) and I always seem to migrate back to this range = I find them relaxing and they go with anything and everything without being a nude. It's never in your face but just enough color to perk up my hands and make them look young which at age 73 now that's a big deal!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you love and have this color too. Its pretty nice neutral peach on the nails. Its definitely a color you don't have to think about when your wearing it. It goes with anything too.
DeleteThat's a really pretty color on you! I love peachy shades, but my skintone does nawt! I've been using a Sony Cybershot W330 for almost 4 years. I have some issues getting accurate color on teals and sometimes purples... I'm curious to find out what you choose, because I've been contemplating upgrading for a little while!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love a good peachy color too. I'm thinking of probably getting one of the Sony Cybershot cameras. I mainly want something affordable since the camera I was using actually belonged to my brother. I'm not all that great using a camera so something that's easy to use and can take a pretty good photo is all that I'm looking for right now.
DeleteThe shade of the nail polish is tempting............
ReplyDeleteIts very pretty indeed!
DeleteVery pretty color. Perfect for formal days :-)
