Here's my fourth manicure for this month's wallpaper theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. For the last manicure, I wanted go for something more elegant and what you might see on the wall today. The stamping image I used kind of reminds me of something floral and I think it goes well with the colors I chose to use for the design.
I used Ciaté Cream Soda on all the nails. I stamped with Milani White On The Spot with BM-414. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I love how light and airy these feel. The grey and white go so well together to achieve such an elegant look. What do you think?

Here's my third manicure for this month's theme of wallpaper for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I decided to do something that had more of a disco feel to it. I used a purple polish for the base color here but its showing up much more blue instead.
I used Finger Paints Grape Gumball on all the nails. I stamped with China Glaze Devotion with BM-410. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I did struggle with scraping this image so my stamping didn't turn out as nice as I hoped. It does give the nails a more worn look. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is to recreate a manicure seen on a celebrity. I went to Google and saw that most celebrities just wear one color on their nails. I did decide to recreate a manicure that Sarah Hyland wore at the 2014 Emmy Awards. The inspiration picture is here.
I used American Apparel Dance on all the nails. Topped it with Essie As Gold As It Gets. With striping tape, I taped one strip across the nails. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I didn't own that particular Essie shade she wore so I tried to do something similar to her nails with what I had available. For my first time at recreating a manicure that's seen on a celebrity, I think I did a great job. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! As you can probably tell, I've been stamping a lot more recently on the blog. I feel like I'm getting the hang of it and its much more quicker to do compared to some freehanded nail art. I've been taking a liking to stamping with holographic polishes recently too. Here's one that looks way better in real life compared to how they appear below.
I used Orly Sweet Peacock on all the nails. I stamped with Color Club Harp On It with BM-410. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
Bonus shot of the nails where you can see the stamping a bit better. In real life, its so much noticeable especially when the light hits it.
I did wish it was sunny so I could have taken pictures in the sun but I tried my best in capturing it. Regardless, I still love how they turned out. That stamping image is one of my favorites from the Bundle Monster set too since it has a tribal print feeling to it. What do you think?

Here's my second manicure for this month's wallpaper theme for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. Similar to what I did yesterday, this is a blue and black wallpaper stamping design. The image I choose to use had more of a circular pattern but it still kind of has a vintage feel to it.
I used OPI Suzi Says Feng Shui on all the nails. I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with stamping plate Lily Anna 08. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
Other than the blue and black polish staining my cuticle area a bit when I was doing clean up, I quite like this. What do you think?

Here's my first manicure for this month's theme of wallpaper for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I wanted to go with something vintage and regal that you most likely see on the walls of an older home. For the theme this month, I'm also planning to use a lot of my stamping plates because a few of them does have a wallpaper design/feel to them.
I used OPI Just a Little Rösti at This on all the nails. I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with stamping plate Lily Anna 08. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I'm so proud that I got my stamping to be pretty even here. I just love how these nails turned out. They turned out exactly how I pictured them. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is fandom. Recently I've been obsessed with The Hunger Games films. I was never interested or watched any of the movies until now. I was bored one day and stumbled across the movie on Youtube so I gave it a watch and was instantly hooked. I created some fire inspired nails because Katniss is known as the girl on fire in the movies.
I used American Apparel Hassid on all the nails. For the fire, I sponged on Salon Perfect Sugar Cube to act as a base for the other colors. When that fully dried, I sponged on a combination of American Apparel Downtown LA, Jessica Tangerine Dreamz, and Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
Instead of drawing the fire with a nail art brush, I sponged it on. I didn't know whether it would work but I'm happy to see it turned out pretty good. What do you think?

Its Monday Blues today and I have a texture and square studs nail art to share. I finally found time to do some blogging this weekend and it was the perfect time to do so since the weather was great. Great weather equals to great pictures today.
I used Pure Ice Twisted on all the nails. For the ring and middle nail, I used striping tape to tape down the center. I painted one side with Pure Ice Twisted and I used Julie G Crushed Candy for the other side. While the polish was still wet, I peeled off the tape. I applied silver square studs from Born Pretty Store down the center. For the pinky, I also applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat on all the nails, making sure to avoid the texture polish.
These turned out much better than I expected them to. I don't use a lot of nail studs in my nail art but I really should start trying to. It adds such an edgy feel to the nails. What do you think?

I was contacted by Kastella Beauty Company, a company based in Los Angeles, California that sells Korean beauty products on their online site, asking if I was interested in reviewing a PR kit from them. Since I'm really into Korean skincare/beauty products right now, I said yes. I got my package in a the mail sometime near the end of December but I actually didn't open it or take pictures of what I've received until recently. So, let's see what was inside.
First, can we talk about how cute it was packaged? A+ for that. It was shipped out in early and I got it in later December which is fast considering it was the holiday season.
There was a few cards in the package from Kastella Beauty Company and an information card highlighting what was inside and what each product does.
Kastella Beauty Company Beauty PR Kit Contents

Revitalizes and pacify the skin with Averola extract. A cleansing oil balms that goes on smooth to help dissolve makeup and other pore clogging impurities for a squeaky clean cleansing.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this Beauty PR Kit from Kastella Beauty Company was really great. There was a bunch of beauty samples in this PR kit to try out and I liked that there was at least two of each sample. That gives me more product to try and test out to get a better feeling for each product. The only one I have tried before was the TonyMoly Tomatox Magic Massage Pack. Everything else in here is new to me. I am most excited about trying out the Banila Co. Clean It Zero and the TonyMoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar in #05 Juicy Peach. That lip balm/tint smells just like juicy peach and its been something I've been wanting to try from TonyMoly too. I do plan to do reviews on some of the products I've received in here either on the blog or on Instagram so be on the look out for that.

Here's my review on the Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing! I've been using this cleanser for quite a while so I wanted to share my thoughts on it in case anyone was looking for a new facial cleanser to try out. These pictures were also the last ones I took using my old camera too. So after this, all my pictures will be taken using my new camera which I've been liking so far.
Description
Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing removes, evenly at a time, waste such as dense excess sebum in pores, as well as sunscreen, make-up, and makes your skin clean and clear. The rice extract and other beneficial ingredients help to remove wastes and dead skin cells, and provide moisture and nutrients.
Where to Buy
A tube contains 150ml. You can purchase the Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing from Wishtrend for $19.99. They offer free worldwide standard shipping on orders over $69 along with free samples included in every order.
Wishtrend January Coupon Codes and Deals
Get 10% off on orders over $55 = WISHJAN2015
Get a 1 FREE Panda Eye Essence Mask with any purchase = WISHGIFTJAN2015
How to Get a $5 Voucher
If you use my promo code: 241709612 as the invitation code when you sign up for an account on Wishtrend, you can get a $5 voucher added to your account that can be used towards your purchases. I get a $5 voucher in return too if you use my promo code.
Packaging
The Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing first comes packaged in a outer cardboard packaging that has a blue, grey, and white design to it. The Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing tube itself has that same simple blue, grey, and white design that matches the cardboard box it comes in. Its in a squeeze tube format so getting the product out is easy since it has a basic flip top cap to it.
Texture and Scent
The Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing has a pretty thick consistency to it. Since its on the thicker side, you don't need a lot of product for it to lather up. Once you work the cleanser into the skin, it creates a really nice thick white foam on the face. The scent on it is soapy so it leaves a clean scent to the face after you've rinsed the cleanser off.
How to Use
Put a proper amount of foam cleansing on wet hands and lather up. Massage the face softly and rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water.
My Review
After using the Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing, I can say I quite like it. Its a pretty nice cleanser that really lathers up on the face. After I rinse it off, I feel like my face is really clean and it doesn't dry out my skin too. The rich texture on it makes my skin feel hydrated after using it. I did wish the scent was more pleasant but its something I'm okay with smelling when I'm using it. Its a little on the expensive side but you get quite a bit of product in the tube. A little goes a long way with this product so this can definitely last you quite a while.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I do recommend the Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing to anyone who's looking for a good cleanser that does clean the face while still leaving the skin hydrated. I feel like it can work for a variety of skin types especially if you have dry skin. I would consider repurchasing the Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing myself after I've gone through and used up some of the other cleansers I have on hand. I haven't tried this cleanser with removing makeup on the face. I did test it on removing makeup swatches off my hand and it did work well in removing it so I can say it does remove makeup effectively.

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is being inspired by your shoes. To be honest, I own very few shoes. So my manicure is inspired by my plain runners that I wear everyday. Its a pair of Nike brand shoes that's all white with touches of light blue and grey. Let's see how I translated that to a manicure.
Starting with my pinky nail, I have on Barielle Swizzle Stix, Ciaté Cream Soda on my ring nail, and OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on the rest of the nails. For the details, I used a combination of the polishes listed and a black striper from Born Pretty Store along with a dotting tool. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
These are not good at all. I tried to replicate the stitch work my shoe has but it just looks messy. The design on my pinky and thumb resembles a corset more than a shoe too. What do you think?

Its Monday Blues today so here's a blue manicure I'm sharing. This one is a simple glitter gradient with a striping tape accent nail. I have classes every day this semester so it's been a struggle for me to find the right time to take pictures when natural lighting is good. Doesn't help that most days are cloudy right now but I'm hoping to find the right time and day to dedicate to blogging so that I have at least some content to post regularly.
I used Barielle Swizzle Stix on all the nails. I used Beyond the Nail Shimmering Mermaid for the glitter gradient on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I used striping tape to tape off a design and painted Julep Amber on top. While the polish was still wet, I peeled the tape off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
The inspiration for the striping tape design was actually from my back pack. I quite like how they turned out too. What do you think?

Final Thoughts
Overall, the Memebox Superbox Pumpkin Pie Cosmetics Box was a pretty good box. I was hoping it would be a nice box since the food themed boxes from Memebox tend to be good and it was. Even though you don't get as much products in here compared to previous boxes, I like that everything is full sized and is pretty big in general. There was a nice variety to them especially the products that do contain pumpkin in it which is what I was most looking forward to. I'm most excited about using the Dearberry Coco's Secret Recipe Pumpkin. What do you think of the Memebox Superbox Pumpkin Pie Cosmetics Box? Have you tried Memebox yet?
