Texture and Square Studs Nail Art

Monday, January 19, 2015

Its Monday Blues today and I have a texture and square studs nail art to share. I finally found time to do some blogging this weekend and it was the perfect time to do so since the weather was great. Great weather equals to great pictures today.

Texture and Square Studs Nail Art

I used Pure Ice Twisted on all the nails. For the ring and middle nail, I used striping tape to tape down the center. I painted one side with Pure Ice Twisted and I used Julie G Crushed Candy for the other side. While the polish was still wet, I peeled off the tape. I applied silver square studs from Born Pretty Store down the center. For the pinky, I also applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat on all the nails, making sure to avoid the texture polish.

These turned out much better than I expected them to. I don't use a lot of nail studs in my nail art but I really should start trying to. It adds such an edgy feel to the nails. What do you think?

  1. Very nice colours and I really like the mixture of "tough" with the studs and cute with the bow :)

    1. Thanks! I haven't used my nail studs in a while so I thought it would go well with these two polishes.
