Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate Case Review

Friday, March 20, 2015

Here's my review on this 24 slot nail art stamping plate case I received from Born Pretty Store. I mainly wanted this to help store some of the irregular shaped stamping plates I've received and purchased from Born Pretty Store. It also seemed to be a nice case to travel with too.

Born Pretty Store 24 Slot Nail Art Stamping Plate Case Holder Organizer Review

Packaging
The stamping plate case itself is made of a faux leather material with a button closure and a screw holding the case holders in place. It can fit the standard circle stamping plates and the hexagon ones seen here. This stamping plate case has 12 plastic covers that's doubled sided so it can hold up to 24 stamping plates in total. Being simple in its design, I felt like the stamping plate case holder was pretty well made.

My Review
Once I got this in the mail, I immediately got my stamping plates that I've received/bought from Born Pretty Store to store in here. I like how small and compact the stamping plate case is which makes it really easy to travel with. I did notice that the pink color the stamping plate case did transfer onto the plate case holder as you can tell from the pictures. Other than that, its a great case to get if you only own a few stamping plates. Its small and won't take up a lot of space while still keeping your stamping plates organized.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I was really happy with this stamping plate case. I do recommend this for someone who only owns a few stamping plates or is looking for a case that's travel friendly. The price is pretty affordable at $5.29 and there is two color options to choose from. You get free standard shipping and if you use my coupon code YCL91, you can get an additional 10% off.

*Born Pretty Store sent the stamping plate case for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest.*

Blog Update: Extending My Blogging Break

Monday, March 16, 2015

Hey everyone! Hope you all are doing well. I decided to extend my blogging break to the end of the month. I just haven't been feeling motivated to do much on my nails and I've been stressed with school so my nails are not in the best condition at the moment.

It my last semester before I graduate so I feel like I should dedicate more time to my studies. Plus, I'm searching for a business office to do a three week office practicum at and its been hard finding one. I have to secure one by the end of the month or else I won't be able to pass my course and graduate in June. Hope you all understand. I will post occasionally if I'm feeling up to it but just not as much as I used to. I promise to be fully back in April! :)

February 2015 Product Empties & Blog Update!

Friday, March 6, 2015

Here's my February product empties!I can't believe I'm still managing to finish so much products within the month. I feel like I empty out at least ten products each month which is a huge accomplishment for me since it used to take me months to finish things.

As for my blog update, I'm going to be taking the next week off from blogging to recharge and to create more blog posts. I've been stressing myself a bit in having enough stuff to post that I think taking a week off the blog is a good idea. I will be back the following week after though. Hope that's okay with everyone.

February 2015 Product Empties

1. Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
This is my last bottle of this toner and I'm a bit sad about it. Its a great everyday toner to use after cleansing. It kept my face hydrated and ready for the rest of my skincare routine. I have a full review on it HERE.

2. IASO Intensive Clear Conditioner
I used these wipes after cleansing my face and they were okay. There were moist but I didn't feel like they did anything for my skin. They did smell pretty nice though.

3. WonderRuci Cacao Brightening Mask
This mask smelled so good, just like chocolate. I'm a bit sad that its gone but I had to use it up pretty fast because it was expiring soon. Since I've used the whole jar, I did notice a bit of a brightening effect. My skin didn't appear as dull as it was before using it.

4. Solucion 9 Aztec Therapy Shampoo Natural Herb 50%
This shampoo was okay. It had a pretty liquid consistency but it lathered nicely on the hair. Didn't notice much difference to my other shampoos though.

5. Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic B Plus Trouble-X
Its suppose to have a concentrate of vitamin B in here to help with breakout and redness. I liked the cream a lot It had a nice scent and the consistency was just right for my dry skin. It felt pretty moisturizing as my day time cream too.

6. Etude House Every Month Cleansing Foam Firming in Pomegranate & Berry
Probably one of the best smelling cleanser I have used. It smells so fruity and it lathered pretty well. It has a thick gel consistency which I found very easy to use.

7. Skin & Lab Dr. Vita Clinic K Plus Red-X
Its suppose to have a concentrate of vitamin K in here to help with sensitive skin, redness, and dark skin. Similar to the B Plus Trouble-X, this was a nice day time cream. I combined this with the other cream and it worked well for my dry skin.

8. Nivea Pure & Natural Lipbalm in Milk & Honey
This was my everyday lipbalm. At first, I didn't like the smell of this at all but the more I used it, the more I actually started to like it. It was moisturizing and left my lips feeling soft.

9. John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-Up Cream
I used this after I've washed and blow dried my hair. Its has a nice smell to it and didn't leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down. I mainly concentrated this cream on the ends of my hair and I quite liked it. Probably won't buy a full size of it since I'm very low maintenance with my hair.

10. Nuganic Customize Pore Control Essence
This is my second bottle of this and it was nice. I don't have a huge issue with pores so I can't say for sure if it helped reduce the appearance of them.

11. Nuganic Customize Sun Block Fresh 50+ SPF PA+++
This is my everyday go to sunblock for last couple of months and I really love it. It doesn't have that too strong sunscreen scent and it went on very nice.

Whew, that was a lot right? What have you finished in February?

Total Value of the Box
The Memebox Seeds & Flowers Box contains six full sized products. The total value of this box is $88.

Final Thoughts
Overall, I thought the Memebox Seeds & Flowers Box was pretty decent box that fit the theme. Not the most exciting box I've received but also not the worst. I was actually planning to purchase this box myself but it got sold out before I could so I'm happy that I received it for one last review. I was hoping for more seed related products but all the flower products in here sound nice though. I love that there was an emulsion in here since you don't see those too often in these boxes. For my final beauty box from Memebox, I was very satisfied with it. Goodbye Memebox! What do you think of the Memebox Seeds & Flowers Box? Have you tried Memebox yet?

Twinsie Tuesday: Endometriosis Awareness (Yellow)

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Today's Twinise Tuesday theme is to sport something yellow to show support for Endometriosis Awareness. Endometriosis is a hormonal and immune system disease in which cell grows outside the uterine cavity, causing extreme pain and infertility. This female reproductive disease affects approximately 1 in 10 women worldwide.

Pastel Yellow with Subtle Orange Floral Stamping Nail Art

I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz on all the nails. I stamped with Julep Hayden with BP-L005 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I think I should have chosen a different color to stamp with since its barely noticeable. Yellows never photographs that good for me so you can tell that here. What do you think?

Blue Glitter Crelly with Swirly Waves

Monday, March 2, 2015

Happy Monday Blues! As you can probably tell, I've been getting into stamping lately. Its because I've so busy that stamping is such a fast way to achieve some really amazing nail art on the nails. Today's nail art is no different and it features an amazing blue crelly polish too.

Blue Glitter Crelly with Swirly Waves Stamping Nail Art

I used Pretty & Polished Pool Party on all the nails. I stamped with Milani White On The Spot with stamping plate BP-L005 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

This blue crelly is one of my favorites. It only took about three coats to be opaque and its jam packed with so much glitter too. What do you think?
