Twinsie Tuesday: Endometriosis Awareness (Yellow)

Tuesday, March 3, 2015

Today's Twinise Tuesday theme is to sport something yellow to show support for Endometriosis Awareness. Endometriosis is a hormonal and immune system disease in which cell grows outside the uterine cavity, causing extreme pain and infertility. This female reproductive disease affects approximately 1 in 10 women worldwide.

I used China Glaze Lemon Fizz on all the nails. I stamped with Julep Hayden with BP-L005 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I think I should have chosen a different color to stamp with since its barely noticeable. Yellows never photographs that good for me so you can tell that here. What do you think?

*Stamping plate BP-L005 was sent for review purposes from Born Pretty Store.*

  8. Hi Lisa, I also would prefer (on my own nails) a bolder stamping effect -- but I don't usually take the time to try out 15 bazillion combinations just for one mani. This soft and subtle effect is very nice just as it is. <3

  9. how many coats of lemon fizz did you need? i love light yellow but haven't been able to find a polish that isn't a streaky disaster :(

I agree the stamping is a bit too subtle but i can see what you were going for!

    1. I believe this was around three coats for me. Yeah, most yellows don't have the best formulas and they can stain my nails as well. Thank you!
