Here's my fourth and last manicure for this month's theme of recreating other member's manicures in celebration of our three year anniversary for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I was inspired to recreate this Skull Skittle NOTD from Lacquer or Leaver Her!. I didn't have the exact plates or colors but I tried my best at matching it the best that I could with my own collection.
I used Milani White On The Spot on the pinky and pointer nail. I used American Apparel Hassid on the ring nail and I used Nabi Iris Jumbo Glitter on middle and thumb nail. For the pinky and pointer, I stamped the black polish with stamping plate BP-02 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the middle nail, I stamped the white polish with BM-413. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I just love the final result that I got for this manicure. I've been liking skittle manicures a lot so these were fun to do. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is to match your nails to your car. I don't own a car so I decided to match my nails to my brother's car. His car is black so I opted for some black nails and to make the manicure a bit more interesting, I added an accent nail to it. Let's see how it turned out.
I used MisQs Black (BK001) on all the nails. For the ring nail, I created an accent design with striping tape and OPI Number One Nemesis. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I don't usually wear an all black manicure so it felt strange on my nails. With the accent nail added on, it kept the manicure from being too plain. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Today, I'm just sharing a simple blue on blue stamping manicure. I also wanted to let you all know that next week I'm going to be starting my three week practicum. I'm still going to at least update three to four times a week if I can. I'm on a break right now so I've been creating as much content as I can. Anyways, let's see the nail art then.
I used Nicole by OPI Diva Into The Pool on all the nails. I stamped with Essie Borrowed & Blue with stamping plate BP-L005 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I thought these look okay. The shimmery blue made my lighting look strange hence the not so great pictures. What do you think?

Here's my third manicure that I recreated from another member for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I was inspired to recreate this Luxe Floral Wallpaper from A Girl and Her Polish. This design caught my eye because I love how the green worked with the gold stamping.
I used Cult Nails Riot on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Gold with stamping plate BP-17 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 to get 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
Cult Nails Riot totally stained my nails. I really like how this turned out but the staining on my nails really bummed me out. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is scented nails or scented polish. The only scented polishes I own are some of the Revlon Parfumerie polishes which I won from a giveaway.
Starting with the pinky, I have on Revlon Parfumerie Lime Basil with Naild'It Violet B Wild on top. For the ring and middle nail, I have on Revlon Parafumerie Ginger Melon. For the pointer and thumb, I painted on Pretty & Polished Jawbreaker. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I haven't done a skittle in quite a while so I thought this was fun. The only negative thing about it was that Revlon Lime Basil totally stained my pinky nail. What do you think?

For today's Monday blues, I tried to create a manicure that resembled a blue jewel stone using the saran wrap method. Let's see if I was successful or not in my attempt.
I used Essie Bikini So Teeny on all the nails. Using the saran wrap method, I dabbed on Orly Rage and a little bit of Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Black Nail Art Liner as well as created some small lines with it. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I thought these turned out okay, just not what I pictured in my mind. I do really like how the metallic color looks against the blue though. What do you think?

Here's my second manicure for this month's theme of recreating other member's manicures in celebration for our three year anniversary for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I was inspired to recreate this geometric manicure from A Little Polish. Its such a simple design but it has such an edgy feeling to it because of the color blocking.
I used American Apparel Coney Island on all the nails. I painted the bottom half of the nails with Sally Hansen I Pink I Can. I painted a stripe halfway down the nail with Nicole by OPI Spring Break. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I went with a pink version of this design and I quite like how it looks. I did wish I made the shapes more even and straight though. What do you think?

Here's my first manicure for this month's theme of recreating other member's manicures in celebration of the third anniversary for The Nail Challenge Collaborative. I decided to recreate this Giraffe manicure from Doctor Crafty. I've been seeing a lot of blobbicures recently so I wanted to give it a try. I've tried this technique in the past but I haven't done one in quite a while.
I used Cult Nails Baker on all the nails. Taking Avon Saturn, I dabbed blobs on top when the base color was still wet. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I went with a different color scheme here and I liked how it looks a lot. Depending on how big or small the blobs are, you can get a lot of fun designs. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is watercolor nails. I haven't done much of this particular design so I was excited to try it out. It was a great time to use my acrylic paints which I have used in quite some time. Let's see how they turned out.
I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. I watered down a variety of acrylic paints to create the watercolor effect. After dabbing the water down acrylic paint on the nails, I waited a few seconds before dabbing my nails with a q-tip to absorb any excess water. Repeated this process until I was happy with the results. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
It was raining the day I took these so excuse the bad lighting and quality. I thought these look pretty cool. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's blue manicure, I did a layering combination with some stamping on top. I usually gravitate to full image designs for stamping so I wanted to change that up. Instead, I went with a design that was more of a half nail design.
I used Sally Hansen Pacific Blue on all the nails. I topped it off with a coat of Pure Ice Heartbreaker on top. I stamped with Salon Perfect Sugar Cube with BP-L005 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
I did have a bit of trouble with the stamping again but it kind of works here. What do you think?

Here's my first impressions and review on a pair of glasses I received from Firmoo. I know this isn't nail polish or beauty related but I've seen other bloggers talk about their glasses so I wanted to give them a try. The only pair of glasses that I own are a reading pair so I wanted to get one that I could wear as a accessory to an outfit. Let's see what I thought about them!
Shipping and Experience
My package was shipped through DHL and it came pretty quickly, about one week after I made my order. The glasses and case was packaged in a bubble mailer inside another plastic mailer. When I first opened the package, I did notice that the bubble mailer it was in was kind of cut open. Strange but nothing was missing or damaged. I corresponded with Tina from Firmoo and she was great to work with too.
Packaging
The glasses came with its own case holder which I really like. The design on it resembles a map which is different from the plain one color cases I've seen. It has a nice sturdy feeling to it and its great to hold your glasses in if your traveling with it. Inside, it comes with a cleaning cloth to clean your glasses with. The only negative thing I noticed was that the case didn't close all the way. There was a bit of a gap and the case felt like it was a bit crooked. Along with the case, I also received a spectacle pouch and a screwdriver.
The Glasses
The glasses I ordered from Firmoo was this pair of brown glasses HERE. They cost $29 which is pretty affordable. The glasses itself which is the most important part totally resembles what was pictured on the website. It's made of a sturdy plastic material and was what I was wanting in a pair of glasses. I already have a pair of glasses for reading and doing work with but I wanted a pair for more fashion/style related purposes. These glasses totally fit the bill on what I was looking for. There on the bigger side with square frames but they feel pretty lightweight and comfortable on.
My Review
I really did like the design and feeling from the pair of glasses I ordered from Firmoo a lot. I like that you can choose from a variety of styles and can get them either with prescription or not too. They can get expensive though but a lot of the times, there's a range of their glasses that are on sale or have a discount to them. Shipping was quick and communication with Firmoo was prompt. Another great feature on their website is that you can upload a picture of yourself so that you can visualize how the pair of glasses you want would look on you. This is extremely helpful especially if your not too sure if the shape or size of the glasses will flatter your face shape.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I do recommend shopping or checking out Firmoo if your looking to change up your glasses or want a website that offers a variety of styles for eye wear. Their website was easy to navigate with helpful pictures and reviews. For me though, I don't wear my glasses a lot outside of my house so I feel like this website would be more of a place for me to shop if I'm looking for more fashion glasses or sunglasses. If you wear glasses more of an everyday basis, Firmoo is a great website to shop for more styles over what you can find in stores too.
Firmo is currently offering first time customers a 50% off code for your first pair HERE. Be sure to follow Firmoo on their social media sites on Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest for updates and more!
*Firmoo sent the glasses for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest.*

Here's my product empties for March! Unlike the previous months, this one is quite small in comparison. I'm happy to have finished them though since I still have so much products to go through, especially skincare stuff. I've just realized that the product I find the most difficult to finish is cleansers. I still have so many of them to use up.
1. Skinmiso Rice Foam Cleansing
This was my a nice everyday cleanser to use day or night for me. It foamed up really well and it didn't leave me skin feeling dry/tight afterwards. I do have a full review you can check out HERE.
2. Dr.Jart+ V7 Eye Serum
I've went three three tubes of this so I did really like it. I do have other eye creams to use right now but when I do run out of those, this would be one I would consider repurchasing.
3. Cetaphil DermaControl SPF30 Oil Control Moisturizer
This is only just a sample tube but I didn't like this at all. The consistency of this moisturizer is so strange. When I'm applying it to my face, patches of the moisturizer was left on my face that I had to then pick off from my face.
4. Bio-RTx Mentor Cream for Dry Skin
I've tried the cream for oily skin and quite liked it but I liked this much more. This had more of a creamy consistency which I liked more compared to the gel one for the oily skin. It kept my skin feeling hydrated during the day pretty well too.
That's all for this month's product empties. What have you finished in March?

I'm finally back to posting for Tuesday Twinsie after taking a few weeks off. Today's theme is seasonal opposite which I think means to do a manicure inspired by the opposite season of Spring. I went with warmer tones that fit the fall mood for this design.
I used Love & Beauty Burnished Gold on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with BP-19 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off.
I thought these turned out okay. I haven't done a lot of nail art during my blog break so I'm a little rusty with stamping. I've been playing around with different hand poses and picture resolutions recently too so you'll probably be seeing different quality pictures from me until I decide on which ones to stick with. What do you think of this manicure?

This is my last swatch post that I have in my blogging folder that I haven't shared until now. After this, I actually have no more pictures so I really have to get into gear and create more content for the blog. I'm going to be experimenting with new hand poses as well since I've been wanting to change it up for a while now. Hopefully, I can find ones that I'm 100% happy about.
Candeo Colors Divebomb has a mix of various blue, teal, gold, silver, brown hexagon and bar glitters in a clear base. Formula and application was good. The clear base was on the thicker side so I felt like I had to dab the glitter where I wanted them to be placed. The glitter was dense so I did get a lot of coverage. This is one coat over Revlon Rich Raspberry with top coat.
I just love glitter polishes especially ones from an indie brand since there always so unique. This one is no exception. What do you think?

Hey everyone! So I'm finally back from my blogging break. It was definitely time for me to take a break from the blog and come back recharged and energized. I wasn't able to do much in terms of getting posts done so for now, I'll be sharing some swatches that are still in my blogging folder that I haven't posted up. Its also my second blog anniversary today as well. I can't believe I've been blogging for three years already, time sure does fly by.
Revlon Colorstay Rich Raspberry is a raspberry pink creme. I'm not the best at describing colors but this polish does have a purple undertone to it as well. Formula and application was great. It felt more like a jelly polish going on since it was glossy. The brush was pretty easy to work with and it has a nice rounded shape to it. This is two coats.
This is my only Revlon Colorstay polish that I own but its definitely not the last. I plan to get more colors from this line sometime in the near feature. If you've tried any colors from this line, please let me know which were your favorites.
