Happy Monday Blues! Since I've started working full time last week, its been a bit difficult finding the time to blog or do my nails. I'm still unsure whether I'm going to be staying at my job for long though. I'm just not feeling very happy or excited with the work I'm doing so I'm definitely going to start looking around for other possible employment opportunities.
I started with Julep Hayden on my pinky and Essie Mesmerize topped with Revlon Heavenly on my ring and thumb. For the rest of the nails, I applied Pretty & Polished Mannequin Hands. Taking the first two colors, I made sure to wipe the brush off good and applied the colors horizontally and vertically to create the brushstroke design. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
These didn't turn out as good as the first one I did since the orange was a bit thick when I was using it. I do like how the orange and blue look together though. What do you think?

Sorry to hear that the job is not going well! Hope you can work things out, or find something more appealing! As for the manicure, I really like the orange and blue together-- a favorite combo of mine! I like how the peach/orange of Hayden brings out some of the orange flash in Heavenly.
ReplyDeleteThanks Cat! The work I'm doing is just something I don't feel passionate or excited about so hopefully, I can find something better. Yes, the blue and orange worked surprisingly well together.
DeleteI like that combo. The dry brush nails are pretty and have a textured look to them while the blue glitter makes me think of the ocean.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cindi!
DeleteI'm in love with this. I think it's one of my faves of yours. That peach color with that shade of blue and glitter is perfection.
ReplyDeleteAww thanks Nidia!
DeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteSorry to hear that the job isn't going as expected. Hopefully you find something else. I love the color combo you chose for this design!
ReplyDeleteThanks! :)
DeleteWhat a fun combo!! Love the dry brush. Hope the job search goes well and you find something that makes you happy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marisa! I'm still in the process of searching but hopefully, I land another job that makes me happy too.
DeleteI hope that your employment situation becomes better soon. There is a real sophistication to theses nails, love it!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Myishia!
DeleteI've been pretty bored at my job lately too but haven't figured out what else I want to do instead :( Hope you find something you like! Great job on the dry brush mani! I love Heavenly over Mesmerized too it's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Hopefully, I can find something I like a bit better than the job I have right now. Everyone who works there is nice but the work I'm doing isn't something I'm super passionate about. I'm curious, what do you do at your job?
