Twinsie Tuesday: Revisit

Tuesday, July 14, 2015

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is a revisit. I decided to tackle the something new theme that this group had in December 2013 when I wasn't part of it yet. I  recently got some new Jessica polishes so I wanted to use one for today's manicure.

Red and Pink Ikat Nail Art

I used Jessica Fanciful Flight on all the nails. For the ikat design, I used Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Nail Art Liner in White, China Glaze Petal To The Metal, and Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Nail Art Liner in Black. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I like this ikat design quite a bit. That Jessica polish was such a dream to use. They make some really great cremes. What do you think?

Green and Blue Holo Gradient with Leopard Print

Monday, July 13, 2015

Happy Monday Blues! I was a bit bummed over the weekend since I was planning to do my nails for the blog but I picked at my nails at the last minute. I know I shouldn't but sometimes when I'm bored, I will start picking at my hang nails. Hopefully, after letting them heal during this week, I can do some nail art next weekend. I'm so behind on what I'm suppose to have done.

Green and Blue Holo Gradient with Leopard Print Stamping Nail Art

I created the gradient by sponging on Avon Celestial and Avon Galaxy on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with stamping plate BP-L006 from Born Pretty Store. For the ring, I used OPI Simmer & Shimmer and topped it with a bow stud from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

I think these look amazing! Stamping on the leopard print was so much easier than creating them freehanded and the result turned out great here. What do you think?

Twinsie Tuesday: Neon

Tuesday, July 7, 2015

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is neon. I actually don't use neon colors a lot so I thought it was a good time to give water marbling another try. They turned out pretty good too.

Neon Water Marble Nail Art

I used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube on all the nails. For the water marble, I used American Apparel Neon Coral, American Apparel Neon Green, American Apparel Neon Orange, and American Apparel Neon Yellow. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

Its not the most amazing water marble out there but its definitely an improvement compared to the last one I did. What do you think?

Double Blue Leafy Stamping

Monday, July 6, 2015

Happy Monday Blues! For today's nail art, I created a double stamping manicure which is something I haven't done in quite a while. I really liked how they turned out so let's see it!

Double Blue Leafy Stamping Nail Art

I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. The two polishes I used to double stamp was American Apparel American Denim and Dearberry 32 with stamping plate BP-50 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.

Aren't these awesome? I really liked how the two blue polishes stamped here even though I did mess up with the dark shimmery blue in some places. What do you think?

June 2015 Product Empties

Friday, July 3, 2015

Here are my products empties for June. This is probably the least amount of products I've finished so far too. Since I've been working full time, I've haven't been using as much products as I used to.

June 2015 Product Empties

1. Insobeau Multi Complex V-Line Repair Sleeping Mask
This was my night time moisturizer. For my dry skin, it was extremely moisturizing and totally felt like a thin mask when I had it on. It smelled pretty nice but I don't recommend wearing this out since it does make your face pretty shiny.

2. Ac'xxi Trouble Skin 100% Handmade Soap
This was an okay product for me. I rarely use a soap to wash my face with them.

3. WonderRuci Light Light Eye Balm
Sadly, I didn't finish this product but I had to toss it out since its expired. This was an okay eye product. Sometimes, it went on smoothly and other times, it clumped up. It did keep my eye area pretty moisturized throughout the day though.

I'm happy to have finished these since there were expiring pretty soon. Let me know what you've finished for June.
