Yellow & Red Gradient Butterfly Wings Stamping

Thursday, October 29, 2015

For today's manicure, I wanted to create a design that I've never tried or done on the blog before. This is the butterfly wings nail art. I've seen a lot of them and I've always found them to be so pretty. So here is my attempt at one that I'm sharing.

Yellow and Red Gradient Butterfly Wings Stamping Nail Art

I used Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights on all the nails except the ring. For the gradient, I sponged on the yellow and Jessica Fanciful Flight using a makeup sponge. I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with BM-424. For the ring nail, I used Smitten Polish Ermahgerd Candy Corms and applied a silver butterfly stud from Lady Queen on top. The silver butterfly stud cost $4.40 for one piece which is a bit expensive in my opinion. This wasn't one of the decorations I chose to review myself but the person I was in contact with suggested it based on my fondness for bow studs. I'm so happy to have it too since I really like it a lot. Its the perfect size for my nails and its super cute. I only wish that it wasn't so expensive though.

Didn't these turn out awesome? I'm super happy with how the stamping and gradient look together here. What do you think?
