For today's manicure, I wanted to create a design that I've never tried or done on the blog before. This is the butterfly wings nail art. I've seen a lot of them and I've always found them to be so pretty. So here is my attempt at one that I'm sharing.
I used Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights on all the nails except the ring. For the gradient, I sponged on the yellow and Jessica Fanciful Flight using a makeup sponge. I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with BM-424. For the ring nail, I used Smitten Polish Ermahgerd Candy Corms and applied a silver butterfly stud from Lady Queen on top. Use coupon code EGLC15 for 15% off your order. Finished with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
The silver butterfly stud cost $4.40 for one piece which is a bit expensive in my opinion. This wasn't one of the decorations I chose to review myself but the person I was in contact with suggested it based on my fondness for bow studs. I'm so happy to have it too since I really like it a lot. Its the perfect size for my nails and its super cute. I only wish that it wasn't so expensive though.
Didn't these turn out awesome? I'm super happy with how the stamping and gradient look together here. What do you think?
*Lady Queen sent the silver butterfly stud for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain affiliate links.*
