November 2015 Product Empties

Here are my product empties for the month of November. For this month, I decided to throw away a bunch of my nail polishes that have gone bad. It was so hard to do it but I think it was for the best so that I can clear some room for other polishes I might buy in the future.

November 2015 Product Empties

1. Color Club Amp'd Up
I was going through my collection and I decided to throw away some of the polishes I owned. I really like how bright this polish is but the consistency of the polish has turned pretty bad. I noticed that there was lumps in the formula so I decided to just throw it out.

2. Color Club Limelight
Like the other Color Club polish, this bright green has some lumps in the formula of the polish as well. I only used both polishes a few times and the shades aren't ones I would wear often so I thought it would be better to just throw them away to clear some space up.

3. Amy's Nail Boutique Gingham
I'm getting rid of this polish because the clear base the glitter is in has completely dried out on me. I can't get any glitter out of the bottle and the brush on it has frayed as well. It was a really nice red and white glitter from the handful of times I used it.

4. Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
This was my first bottle of famous Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat when it was really popular. Its time to throw it away though since I haven't used it in a long time becuase the consistency of it has gotten pretty thick. There is some top coat still left inside but I would rather just buy a new bottle of it instead of trying to restore it using polish thinner.

5. Revlon Gentle Cuticle Remover
I got this cuticle remover a while back but I've only used it a handful of times. It doesn't really do anything for me in terms of removing my cuticles too so I think its time for me to throw it away. The consistency of it was really weird too, it was milky and kind of soapy looking to me.

6. Nicole by OPI Drying Drops
This was an okay product for me but I still prefer using my fast drying top coats over it. Its suppose to help your manicure dry faster but from what I've seen and heard about it but my nails are never really all that dry after using it.

7. Listerine Total Care Zero
I've only recently just started using mouthwash for the first time so this is the first bottle I've finished that came as a bonus with purchase of a full size. For the first couple of times, it was very hard to keep the mouthwash in my mouth since it had such a burning sensation but now, it doesn't effect me as much. It works to help keep my mouth smelling fresh and clean.

8. DAMOAE Therapy Tonic
I have a full review on this product HERE if your interested in hearing my full thoughts on it. It was a nice hair product but its probably not something I would repurchase again since its on the more expensive side. It had a herbal scent to it which wasn't something I liked. I felt like it made my hair a bit stronger so it wasn't as prone to breaking off as it used to be.

That's all for my product empties for the month. I'm sad to be throwing some of my nail polishes away but its totally time to do so. I might be clearing some more out before the year ends but I'll see. Share what you've emptied with me down in the comments.

  1. Sometimes it's good to throw stuff out when it is of no use to you. I bought the seche restore and it works better then thinner.

    1. Your right. I was thinking of getting the Seche Restore to thin out some of my polishes that have gone thick but I haven't yet. Might need to though.

    1. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who thought so. Its so weird since it didn't really do anything other than sit on my cuticles.

  3. Sorry to hear your nail polishes got lumpy / dried out! :( I haven't had that happen to me with color Club before

    1. I purchased those two from another person online so I think they just turned bad for some strange reason. I'm still able to use them but the weird texture is making me concerned so I'm just going to toss them out.

    1. You didn't like them? I like most OPI polishes I have myself.

  5. Yeah, I know what you mean by having to get used to using mouthwash. Same thing happened to me. But now I can't go without it anymore.

    1. I've been using mouthwash for around a month now and I don't mind it now. It actually makes me mouth feel much more cleaner.
