Shimmery Green Water Marble Inspired Stamping

Wednesday, December 30, 2015

I noticed that I don't really wear a lot of dark colored nails for some reason. So I wanted to change that up and share a dark manicure today. I've been doing a lot of stamping manicures so this is another one using a stamping polish I have in my collection but haven't used until now.

I used Orly Fowl Play on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with M Polish Bells of Ireland with stamping plate hehe 037 from Lady Queen. Use coupon code EGLC15 for 15% off your order. For the ring nail, I used Sea Lore Adella and topped it off with a silver bow stud from Lady Queen. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.

Here's a closer look at stamping plate hehe 037. This stamping plate has a mix of a water marble looking design, lotuses, fishes, and a dragonfly. I mainly got this stamping plate for the water marble looking design since I liked the first stamping plate I tried out from the hehe series that also had a design similar to it. It stamped really well for me in this manicure.

Lady Queen - Stamping Plate Hehe 037 Review

I thought these looked pretty good. I did struggle taking pictures of this manicure so I think I now know why I don't do a lot of darker manicures. Its because sometimes its hard to photograph for me. I do like how the green stamping polish looks like its glowing though. What do you think?

    1. Thanks Maddy! It's been ages since I used one of my bow studs so I though why not add one to this manicure.

  3. I love the way the stamping looks over the dark base :) love the glowy looking stamping in your last few manis! I prefer wearing lighter manis too... Tip wear is so obvious with dark colours

    1. Thank you! I'm glad to hear you've been liking the glowing stamping manicures too. Those M Polishes that I have are suppose to work best over darker colors. Totally agree about that too.

    1. Thanks! That stamping polish is suppose to really show up on top of a darker color too.
