Hi everyone! Today's manicure is pretty plain but I still like it. Its just a glitter polish layered over a neutral base polish with a stamping accent nail. The glitter polish kind of has a Spring vibe to me so it's the perfect time for me to wear it now.
I used American Apparel California Trooper on all the nails. I applied Girly Bits Black Eyed Susan on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I stamped with H&M Fabulous Nails Honey with stamping plate BM-H09 from Bundle Monster. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I originally was going for something else for this manicure but it ended up turning into this. I still think it looks pretty good and this is normally what I would go for if I don't have a lot of time to spend on my nails. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is monochrome. I have a lot of stamping plates that I haven't touched so I used a one of them I haven't used for this manicure. I also thought it would be a nice to make my manicure matte too since I haven't used any of my mattifying top coats in a while.
I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BM-418 from Bundle Monster. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order from Born Pretty Store. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat and then a coat of NYC Matte Me Crazy Mattifying Top Coat.
I was happy with how these turned out other than smudging the design a bit on my pinky nail. I think I should have applied another layer of matte top coat though since my nails still seem to have a shine to them. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! So, the weather has been pretty great lately so that's making me happy to see. I was looking through my nail polish collection and realized I still have a lot of polishes that are untried so I decided to use one that's a blue polish for today's manicure. Hopefully, I will continue to at least use all of my untried polishes at least once on my nails.
I used MisQs GR001 on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Green with stamping plate BP-15 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the ring nail, I used Orly Here Comes Trouble. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I just love how bright and vibrant MisQs GR001 was when I was applied it on my nails. I always seem to pair blue and green with each other because they always turn out looking so good together. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I wanted to create more of a dark neutral colored manicure so I did just that in today's manicure. I really like to wear purple brown colors so I used that as my base polish and added some glitter and a stamping design on top of it.
I used China Glaze Below Deck on all the nails. I stamped with Ya Qin An 24 with stamping plate BM-406 from Bundle Monster on the ring and middle nail. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order from Born Pretty Store. For the rest of the nails, I applied Candeo Colors Fully Loaded. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I wasn't too happy with how stamping polish Ya Qin An 24 looked in my other manicure so I decided to give it another try again. I'm so impressed with how opaque it turned out with the stamping image I used. It did kind of turn into a light purple when I stamped it on top of the base polish though. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is tulips. I didn't really want to freehand the tulips so I went looking in my stamping plate collection for a tulip design instead. I found a nice tulip design on one of my larger rectangular stamping plates from Born Pretty Store so I used it to create today's manicure.
I used OPI Stranger Tides on all the nails. Next, I double stamped the tulips using Born Pretty Stamping Polish in White and Dearberry 21 with stamping plate BP-L001 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I thought these turned out okay. Its not my favorite floral manicure I've done but its not the worst too. The double stamping turned out a little messy looking than what I was expecting. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's nail art design, its a simple texture and nail foil design. I was in the mood to use my nail foils again and thought mixing it with a texture polish would go well together.
I used China Glaze Kinetic Candy on my ring and middle nail. Taking nail foil Ciaté Fling and Ciaté Frost, I applied them in random areas on those two nails. For the rest of the nails, I used Julie G Blueberry Fizz. I didn't apply any top coat since I wanted to keep the texture and foil finish on the nails.
I quite liked how this manicure turned out. It was fun to mix the finish of the nail foil and the texture polish in this manicure which resulted in a pretty good design. What do you think?

Hi everyone! This is the last of the items I got sent to review from Lady Queen. I really like bow studs so I saw this interesting silhouette nail stud on their website that I wanted to try it out. I've been liking the saran wrap technique recently so I went with a grey and black color scheme to match with the nail stud so let's see how it turned out.
I used American Apparel Echo Park on all the nails. Then I used the saran wrap technique using OPI Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! and American Apparel Hassid. For the ring nail, I applied a silhouette nail stud from Lady Queen. Use coupon code EGLC15 for 15% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I was going for an aged kind of look on the nails and I think I achieved that here. I'm loving how it looks and it makes me want to create more saran wrap manicures now. The mosaic nail stud was a perfect size on my nails too. Its very different to other nail studs I own so I'm happy to add it in my collection. What do you think?
*Lady Queen sent the silhouette nail stud for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain affiliate links.*

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is gradient and stamping. I haven't done much gradient and stamping combinations so I was excited for the theme. I went with yellow, green, and blue for the gradient part with a black swirly pattern stamped on top to complete the manicure. Let's see how it turned out.
I used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube on all the nails. I sponged on American Apparel Manila, American Apparel Office, and American Apparel American Denim with a makeup sponge to create a gradient. After that was dry, I applied a coat of Essie Shine Of The Times. Next, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BP-L004 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
It's been a while since I've done a gradient so it was kind of messy to clean up afterwards. I didn't sponge the gradient on that well since there is a little bit of the white base polish peeking out on top but other than that, I was happy with how these turned out. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! So the weather where I live has been super sunny recently which makes me happy to see. It's still a bit cold outside but with the weather being so good, it makes it easier for me to take pictures. For today's manicure, I'm sharing a simple manicure using some feather water nail decals.
I used Essie Parka Perfect on all the nails. For the ring nail, I used Rainbow Honey The Worst Possible Things. For the rest of the nails, I applied some purple feather water decals from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
It's been a while since I've used water nail decals but I think they look good. I did have a little trouble getting them placed on my nails in a good position but in the end, I'm happy with how it turned out. What do you think?

Here's my product empties for the month of March. I didn't really empty a whole lot of things in March other than these few items. Its still good progress that I finished them though. I still have a lot of skincare products to go though since I have a drawer full of stuff from when I was really into skincare last year. Anyways, let's see what I thought of the things I used up.
1. Secret Key Snow White Cream
This is a whitening cream product. I've used this and it was okay. I'm not really looking to whiten my skin so I felt like this product didn't really do much for me. I do notice that it did lighten my skin a little when I applied it on but you had to mix it with another product to really help it absorb into the skin.
2. L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Fibralogy Thickening Booster
This is a hair thickening serum that I received with a shampoo and conditioner from the same line in a Influenster box a while back. I don't use a lot of hair care products often so this definitely took a while for me to use up. I liked it but its not something I would go out and purchase myself. My hair is pretty thick already so I didn't notice much difference in the thickening aspect of it but it made my hair smell good after using it.
3. Purederm Choco Cacao Nose Pore Stripes
This is similar to the Biore pore strips but this one has a chocolate like smell to it and the strip is a dark brown color. It works as effectively as the Biore ones but it does leave a little bit of a brown residue after you rip the strip off. I think I prefer the Biore one a little bit more because that one doesn't really leave a residue as much as this one did.
4. Rojukiss Pore Deep Cleansing Oil
This is the second bottle of this cleansing oil that I have finished. After using it for a pretty long time, I quite like it. It did help to clean my face of makeup and it was very gentle on the skin. It would be something I would repurchase again but with so much other cleansers for me to use up, it would be a while until I do repurchase it.
That's all for my product empties for March. Let me know your thoughts on these products if you've tried them or what you've emptied in the month of March.

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is glitter placement. I don't really have a lot of loose glitters to use for the glitter placement theme that was a good size to use on my nails so I went with a glitter polish instead. I'm using a silver holographic hexagon glitter and individually placing them on two of my nails.
On my pinky, I used China Glaze Ray-diant. For the middle and ring nail, I applied a base color of Essie Sew Psyched and then taking American Apparel Light Year, I placed the glitters individually using a toothpick. For the rest of the nails, I used Avon Celestial. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Overall, I'm pretty happy with these. The glitters were kind of breaking apart when I was picking and placing them on but I don't think the glitter placement turned out too bad. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! So, it was my three year blog anniversary on April 1st but I didn't really have anything special planned to celebrate the occasion. Instead, it felt like just any other day to me but its a huge accomplishment to me that I've been blogging for so long now and have kept up with it until now. Hopefully, I'll be able to celebrate it properly next year with a giveaway or something. Anyways, let's see the manicure today.
I used American Apparel Trenchcoat on all the nails. Next, I used the saran wrap technique to apply China Glaze Electric Beat and Zoya Cola. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I thought these turned out pretty great. I want to try a variety of different color combinations using the saran wrap technique now. What do you think?
