Happy Monday Blues! For today's manicure, I went with an unusual combination of colors. I paired a golden reddish orange polish with some light blue stamping. Let's see how it turned out.
I used China Glaze Riveting on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Ya Qin An 25 with stamping plate BP-42 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the ring nail, I used ellagee Jewel Encrusted. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
These look pretty neat and the blue stamping showed up pretty well against the base polish. The stamping image was really unique too since it was a mix of random lines and shapes in it. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Since summer is almost here, I wanted to create a summery manicure for the season. I was looking through my stamping plates and had the urge to create a manicure using a starfish design.
I used Jessica Social Butterfly on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Gold with stamping plate BP-43 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the ring nail, I used Julie G Tangerine Dream. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat on all the nails except the ring.
These turned out pretty cute and I really like the starfish looking design I used here. The coral and gold combination feels very summery to me and the orange texture accent nail pairs well with the two colors. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is inspired by your childhood. This was the previous theme for Twinsie Tuesday but I mixed it up with the inspired by fabric theme I did. I thought it would be okay to actually complete the theme that I missed for today's manicure. I loved watching Sailor Moon growing up so I wanted to do a manicure inspired by that. I googled for some inspiration and came across these Sailor Moon Galaxy Nails that SassyShelly created. I tried my best to recreate her manicure with what I had and also added something a little different to it too.
I used Nabi Iris Jumbo Glitter on all the nails. I sponged on the initial galaxy design with Salon Perfect Sugar Cube. After that dried, I sponged on a combination of Essence Break Through, Barielle Welcome Ohm, and American Apparel Rose Bowl. For more sparkle, I added a coat of Nina Ultra Pro Holographic Topcoat. Next, I stamped with China Glaze Devotion with stamping plate BP-49 from Born Pretty Store on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I wanted a really bold accent nail so I decided to apply a gold bow stud with pearl on it. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order from Born Pretty Store. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I recently received this gold bow stud with pearl from Born Pretty Store and thought it would go perfectly with these nails since it resembles something the characters would wear. I thought these nails turned out pretty awesome in the end as well. It took a while for me to create but the end result of it makes me so happy. Its probably one of my most favorite manicures I've done too so thank you to SassyShelly for the inspiration. What do you think?
*Born Pretty Store sent the gold bow stud with pearl for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain affiliate links.*

Happy Monday Blues! So I previously created a skittle manicure a while back and I really like the result of the polka dot nail I did in it. So, I decided to recreate it into a full polka dot manicure with some blue roses added into it.
I created the polka dot nails using Barielle Welcome Ohm as my base polish and then dotted on the polka dots with a dotting tool using OPI Stranger Tides. For the blues roses my ring and middle nail, I took a dotting tool and a toothpick to create them using Essie Mesmerize and Essie Borrowed & Blue. For the leaves, I used Sephora by OPI Ocean Love Potion. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I think I need to practice my roses some more but I still really like how these turned out. The blue roses are vibrant and pop against the polka dot background. I just love the colors in this polka dot manicure so much. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Since summer is around the corner, I wanted to create a more brighter neon manicure. I've always loved the look of the dry brush technique with stamping that I've seen others done so I wanted to give it a try.
I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on all the nails. Then I used the dry brush technique to apply on two neon colors, American Apparel Neon Coral and American Apparel Neon Green. Next, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BP-L029 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I'm happy with how these turned out but I'm not in love with it for some reason. I still think this is a pretty fun manicure to wear for Summer. There's a lot of different color combinations you can have for this design too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Just sharing a very simple manicure with you all today. I was feeling pretty lazy this time and just wanted something pretty quick and simple. I noticed that I had one of those fuzzy coat glitters but haven't used it yet so I thought now would be the perfect time to use it.
First, I used Dearberry 20 and topped it off with Sally Hansen Fuzzy Coat Wool Lite on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I used Misa Taking Chances and created a simple polka dot pattern using Dearberry 20 with a dotting tool. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I don't own or tend to like a lot of bar glitter polishes but I wanted to give this one from Sally Hansen a try. I don't think it looks too bad but I did have to dab where I wanted them placed since they didn't spread all that evenly on my nails. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I haven't created much galaxy nails in the past but I really wanted to
give it another try so here's my attempt at one again. I think one of the reason I don't create a lot of galaxy nails is because of how much nail polish I use in one but I've always loved the look of them whenever I see someone do one.
I used Chi Chi Wango Tango on all the nails. For the galaxy design, I first sponged on Salon Perfect Sugar Cube. After that's dried, I sponged on various colors including Sally Hansen I Pink I Can, Revlon Colorstay Rich Raspberry, Barielle Do Unto Others, and Barielle A Bouquet For Ava. For some sparkle, I lightly dabbed on China Glaze Fairy Dust on the galaxy design part. Then I dotted and created some stars using Born Pretty Store Sweet Color Nail Art Liner in White from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I just love these! I especially love how the design on my pointer nail looks the most. Next time I'm going to leave out the white details and stars though since I liked the design more before I added them in here. What do you think?

Hi everyone! So this is going to be a quick unboxing post of the L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise VoxBox from Influenster that I received. There was variety of different products I could have received so it was exciting to see which one I would get. The one I received was from the Nutri-Gloss Luminizer line which consists of a shampoo, conditioner, and leave in spray. There was also a card telling me what to do next once I receive the box as well as a booklet with more details on each of the new hair product line from L'Oreal Paris along with coupons on the back.
What I Received:
1. L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Nutri-Gloss Luminizer Shampoo
2. L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Nutri-Gloss Luminizer Conditioner
3. L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Nutri-Gloss Luminizer High Shine Glossing Mist
I've received and tried a previous L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise set before which was for thickening the hair but this one sounds more up my alley. My hair does lack shine and gloss to it so I'm excited to see if this will actually help in that area. Let me know if you got sent this box from Influenster and which L'Oreal Paris hair line you received too.

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is inspired by fabric. I chose to get inspiration from a houndstooth fabric since its been a while since I've done one. I like the classic pattern and decided to go with a warmer color scheme on the nails. I googled houndstooth online and went with a brown and black design which I think would be perfect for the fall time.
First, I used Misa Lost to the World on all the nails. Next, I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with stamping plate BM-322 from Bundle Monster. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I like how these look a lot. Its probably not the right season right now to wear them but it just looks so warm on the nails. I'll try to do more season appropriate manicures for Spring and Summer but its always fun to change it up every once in a while. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! This is a little late but I hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day yesterday. For today's manicure, I have a blue leopard print. I like animal print designs and ones like this is usually what I go for when I'm in the mood for it.
First, I used Essie Borrowed & Blue on my ring and middle nail. I created the leopard print using American Apparel Cameo Blue and American Apparel Passport Blue with a dotting tool. For the rest of the nails, I used Sation Let's Mingle & Jingle. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
It's been so long since I've done a leopard print design and I just loved how it turned out. I think the all blue color scheme looks pretty great with the design too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today, I have a review on some glass nail files I received from Aveniro. I've had them for a few weeks now so now I can share my thoughts on them. But first, here's a little information on the Aveniro company: Aveniro Ltd. is a unique glass nail files producer from the Czech
Republic. Since their glass nail files are made of Bohemian crystal,
they are renown for their unlimited lifespan, efficiency, simple
maintenance and particularly their positive effect on the nails health.
Onto the glass nail files I received, I got sent two regular sized glass nail files, one travel sized glass nail file, and a manicure stick. I don't really have much experience using glass nail files myself but I've always heard that there suppose to be the best option to use for filing down your nails compared to regular cardboard nail files.
All three glass nail files I received came nicely packaged in their own little case to help protect them. The one with the rhinestones in particular came in velvet case while the other two came in a plastic case. Even the manicure stick has a little tube case for it to be stored in. So I was very happy with their packaging and presentation of their glass nail files.
My Review
After using them for around a month, I can say I quite like them. Unlike regular nail files I've used, I like that these glass nail files don't really wear down as much. They have a good sturdy weight to them and it doesn't take long to file my nails down with them. I'm going to continue using these glass nail files more often now since I liked the results whenever I filed my nails using one of these glass nail files. Both of the regular sized glass nail files are 135mm long and 2mm in thickness while the travel sized glass nail file is 90mm long and 2mm in thickness. The only negative thing is that since there made of glass, you have to be careful not to drop them since they might break if you do.
For the manicure stick, its a nice tool to have to help get rid of any excess nail bits underneath the nails. Both ends of the manicure stick has a rough texture like the glass nail files so your able to use them to file away little bits off your nails. The length of the manicure stick measures 115mm. Like the glass nail files, it has a nice sturdy weight to it and its a useful tool to have around in my opinion.
Final Thoughts
Overall, if you haven't given glass nail files a try yet, you definitely should. There much more sturdier than regular cardboard nail files and they do a better job filing down your nails too. I like that there's a variety of styles and colors to choose from to make it a little more personalized to your taste. They come in nice cases and there easy to carry around with you on the go. So definitely check out the Aveniro site if your looking for quality made glass nail files or want more information on what kinds glass nail files they offer.

Here's my product empties for the month of April. I finished some items I've been using for a while now which makes me happy to see. Let's see what I thought of each one then.
1. Rappol Calming Cream
This bottle of cream took me quite a while to use up. I used it as my daily face moisturizer but as it came closer to its expiration date, I switched it to my body cream. I liked this cream since it didn't have much of a scent to it and it was pretty moisturizing on my skin. I like that its in a pump bottle format so it makes for easier use to me.
2. Boscians 5th Edition Cycle Repair Whitening Spot
This little tube lasted me for a while and it was a pretty effective in whitening. I used this cream to spot treat any dark spots on my face and I did notice those areas lightening up a bit. When I get a pimple and it goes away by itself, it usually leaves a faint dark mark so by applying this cream on top of it consistency, the darkness does fade away quite a lot.
3. TonyMoly Gold Black Sugar Mask
This was my first brown sugar scrub and I loved it. I could feel the scrubbing happening on my face but it wasn't harsh on my skin at all. It smelled like brown sugar and I felt like it was pretty effective in cleansing and exfoliating my skin. This would be something I would repurchase again in the future.
4. Shocking Toner Special Kiss Ver. Whitening & Anti-aging Toner
This was probably the biggest tub of toner that I've used so far so it took quite a while for me to use up. It had a nice refreshing scent to it and the texture was like a liquid gel. It applied and absorbed into my skin really well. It was the first step of my skincare routine and would be something I would repurchase again.
That's it for my product empties for April. I'm the most proud of finishing the toner since it was a huge tub of it and it nearly took me a year to use up. Let me know if you tried any of the products I used up and what your thoughts are on it too.

Happy Monday Blues! I missed using my dotting tool and I wanted something easy on the nails so I created a simple dotted floral manicure. I only had the floral design on two of my nails and the rest a solid polish color. Let's see it then.
First, I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on my ring and middle nail. Using a dotting tool, I created the flowers using Barielle Welcome Ohm and dotted the center with Jessica Fanciful Flight. For the rest of the nails, I applied MisQs BL001. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I quite like how these turned out. Its been a while since I created these dotted flowers so creating these have given me the urge to create more free handed flower designs now. I might have to create some blue roses for my next Monday Blues manicure. What do you think?
