Hi everyone! A little bit of a different manicure from me today. I don't usually go for these cartoon like designs but I wanted to try something a little different. I have a lot of stamping images to use and thought this smiley face one would be fun to use. Let's see how it turned out.
I used American Apparel Sunshine State on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Store Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BM-304 from Bundle Monster on just the ring and middle nail. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order from Born Pretty Store. For the rest of the nails, I applied Lumina Lacquer Grape Granita. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I don't use yellow a lot since the color doesn't really look all that great on my nails but in this manicure, I don't mind it as much. I thought these turned out okay in the end but I do especially like the glitter I used here. I think I would like to layer it over a different base polish next time though. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! These nails were inspired by Kelli Marissa after seeing her tutorial on her No-Tools Easy DIY 3D Nail Art Tutorial. I really liked the effect this design had on her nails so I wanted to give a try myself. It also kind of reminded me of a design I like to do with the fan brush too so let's see how mine turned out.
I used Sally Hansen Lavender Cloud on all the nails. Going from lightest to darkest and as shown in the video tutorial, I applied Revlon Parfumerie Tropical Rain, Sally Hansen Pacific Blue, and American Apparel Passport Blue. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
It was a real struggle to get the design right but I think they turned out okay in the end. Sadly, I didn't like how my pictures turned out since the lighting the day I took these was not the best. I did like how my pinky nail turned out the most though. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I was in a mood for a gradient manicure so I went ahead and created one using some pastel shades and threw in a textured accent nail with it too. I got sent some new nail decorations from Lady Queen to review so I wanted to use one in today's manicure. Let's see my nail art then.
First, I created the gradient by sponging on China Glaze Lemon Fizz and China Glaze Re-fresh Mint on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I used Love & Beauty Champagne and topped it off with a rhinestone and pearl bow stud from Lady Queen. You can use coupon code EGLC15 for 15% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat on all the nails except the ring.
I thought these turned out pretty nice. I just love how the pastel yellow and mint look together in the gradient here. The rhinestone and pearl bow stud was cute and was the perfect size for my nails too. What do you think?
*Lady Queen sent the rhinestone and pearl bow stud for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain affiliate links.*

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is geometric. Geometric means to me that the design has to be created using any shapes. I didn't want a full on geometric design on my nails but instead, I opted for some stamping on a few of my nails. I looked through my stamping plates and a particular geometric design caught my eye so here's the manicure I created with it.
First, I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on the ring and middle nail. Next, I used the saran wrap technique to apply on two colors which are Nicole by OPI Find Your Passion and Nicole by OPI Spring Break. When that fully dried, I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BP-L004 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the pinky, I used OPI Teenage Dream and for the pointer and thumb, I used Nicole by OPI Naturally. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I thought these turned out looking pretty good. The only thing I didn't like about it was that the stamping on the ring nail was a bit faded compared to the middle nail. Other than that, I really liked how the saran wrap design looks with the stamping on top of it. I might have to create more designs like it in the future. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! This was inspired by Lovestruck Lacquer after seeing her Turquoise with Black and White Floral Accent Nail manicure a while back. I love simple manicures so seeing hers, I knew I had to create one myself.
I used MisQs GR001 on all the nails except the ring. For the ring nail, I used Salon Perfect Sugar Cube. After that dried, I stamped with American Apparel Hassid with stamping plate BP-56 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I thought these turned out pretty great. I didn't have the same stamping plate she used so I choose a floral design that I thought was similar. I just love how the black and white accent nail stands out here. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I have a new clear stamper with cap and scraper that Born Pretty Store has out that I will be trying out in today's manicure. I've had a good experience with their previous clear stamper so I wanted to give this new one a try. I like that there's a cap to it since it will keep the stamper head covered when I'm not using it. It also comes with a plastic scraper which is nice to have around.
I used Nicole by OPI Alex By The Books on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Ya Qin An 26 from Born Pretty Store with stamping plate BM-416 from Bundle Monster on just the middle and pointer nail. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order from Born Pretty Store. For the ring nail, I used China Glaze He's Going In Circles. Finished with a coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Here's a closer look at the clear stamper with cap and scraper. I didn't need to prime it and it stamped really well for me. I used the rolling motion to pick up the image and the stamper was squishy enough that I was able to just press it onto my nails. I'm so pleased with it and will continue to use it along with my other stampers.
I'm very happy with this manicure. I thought the yellow stamping would go well with the green base polish and I think it does. I could have even layered some more colors using this particular stamping image to get a more colorful splatter design too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today's manicure is a pretty simple layering combination with some stamping. I've been trying to use some of the untried polishes in my collection recently so the Kleancolor polish I used is one of them. Let's see the nail art!
I used Revlon Colorstay Rich Raspberry and topped it off with Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple on all the nails. I stamped with Ya Qin An 23 with stamping plate BM-320 from Bundle Monster on just the ring and middle nail. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order from Born Pretty Store. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
These look okay. The stamping turned out a little warped so I didn't like this manicure as much as I thought I would. I do like how the layering of the raspberry color and glitter looks here though. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! This manicure that I'm sharing today inspired by this Neutral & Neons Mani that Imperfectly Painted created. I went with a different color scheme compared to her version so let's see how mine turned out.
For the ring nail, I used Funky Fingers Jawbreaker and for the middle nail, I used Sephora by OPI Are You Glistenin'?. I used China Glaze Towel Boy Toy on the rest of my nails. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I think these look great. I love a good skittle like manicure and this was very easy to do. It doesn't have a nail art design on it but sometimes I like a simple manicure like this. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I had the urge to do some stamping over a metallic base polish so I did just that. I went with a metallic silver base and stamped on a black swirly side design. I didn't know how they would turn out since I created them on a whim but let's take a look at how they look.
I used Sally Hansen Celeb City on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Polish in Black with stamping plate BP-18 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the ring nail, I used Sephora by OPI Justa' Pinch of Glitter. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
These surprisingly turned out well. I didn't think I would like them but I'm very pleased with it. The image I stamped on worked well and I like how it covers mostly one side of my nails. What do you think?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday is negative space. I got inspiration for these nails I'm sharing today from Paulina's Passions after seeing her Black & Gold Negative Space Nails a while back. I went with a purple and gold color scheme for my recreation instead so let's see how they turned out.
First, I applied some pieces of striping tape onto my middle and pointer nail to create the negative space design. Next, I used Misa BreakAway on all the nails except the ring. While the polish was still wet, I quickly peeled off the striping tape to reveal the negative space design. I took gold teardrop studs from Born Pretty Store and applied one on the middle and pointer nail. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the ring nail, I used China Glaze De-light. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I thought these turned out looking pretty great. I didn't have the exact same triangle nail studs she used but I found something similar to it and I think the teardrop nail studs look pretty good here. What do you think?

I used Avon Saturn on all the nails. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 7# with stamping plate BP-10 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Didn't this turn out pretty amazing?! The dark blue stamping polish was so pigmented, I was just blown away by it. The only negative thing about it was that I did notice a little bit of staining as I was cleaning up around my nails. For this manicure, I did something a little different since I used almost all the images on the stamping plate and stamped it onto my nails. What do you think?

Here's my product empties for the month of May. I finished some small sample products and big full sized stuff so I'm happy about this month's empties. Let's hear what I thought of the products then.
1. originalraw Chan-Mool Patting Essence
This was a sample size of the essence that I received in a little set but it lasted me quite a few uses. I cut open the tube and there was a lot of essence left inside too. I really liked the scent and texture of the essence. It felt good applied on the skin and it absorbed really well too.
2. Shiseido Facial Cotton
This was just 4 sheets of their facial cotton pads. This was my first time using them and they had to be the thickest cotton pads I have used. Since they were on the thicker side, I did cut them up for more uses. They worked well for applying my toner. It would be something I might purchase in the full pack in the future.
3. originalraw Water Block Black Jam
This was also a sample size of the product and like the essence, lasted me quite a few uses especially when I cut the tube in half. This was a thick gel that is suppose to be worn like a sleeping mask pack overnight. It smelled great and it definitely kept my skin hydrated at night.
4. Listerine Total Care Zero
I think is this probably my most favorite version of Listerine so far. I was running out of this one so I needed to repurchase one again but it wasn't on sale so I opted for one of their original versions. I'm currently using that one right now but it doesn't give me the clean fresh feeling this one does. Once this one is on sale again, I'm going to repurchase it again.
5. L'Oreal Paris Hair Expertise Fibralogy Shampoo and Conditioner
Both of these were very nice to use. I did finish the shampoo a lot faster than the conditioner though. I do prefer 2 in 1 products though so these are probably not something I would repurchase unless they were on a good sale. It made my hair smell good and I did feel like my hair thickened up when using them.
That's all for my product empties for the month of May. I'm mostly missing my Listerine Total Care Zero mouth wash the most but I'll pick up a new bottle of it when its back on sale. In the meantime, I'll have to make do with what I'm currently using. Let me know what you've emptied recently, I would love to know.

Hi everyone! Here's the first stamping polish from Born Pretty Store that I'm trying out in today's manicure. The green shimmer stamping polish from Born Pretty Store was so
pigmented and stamped amazingly well for me. I'm very impressed with it
and want to get my hands on more of their stamping polishes
now.
I used China Glaze Escaping Reality on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 37# with stamping plate BP-30 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the ring nail, I used Orly Right Amount Of Evil. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I just love how the green and pink go together in this manicure. The pink is vibrant and it looks great peeking out from the green braided pattern design I stamped on top of it. What do you think?
