Here's my product empties for the month of July. I finished a bit more products compared to the last few months which I'm happy about. Let's hear my thoughts on them then.
1. Arm & Hammer All-in-one Complete Care Gel in Fresh Mint
I usually use the Crest brand of toothpaste but I wanted to try out something different so I picked up this Arm & Hammer one when it was on sale. I quite like it after using a whole tube. It left my mouth feeling clean and fresh after using it. Its definitely something I would repurchase again too.
2. too cool for school McGirly Good Morning Rice Wash Set
I've never tried a wash off pack like this before so it was interesting to use. I'm suppose to use one packet in the water and use it to rinse my face with it. Afterwards, just pat dry until the water is absorbed. Its suppose to moisturize, soothe, and purify the skin. I didn't notice much of a different but it did leave my skin feeling moisturized after using it. The set came with 10 packets which was a lot and would be great to travel with too.
3. Herbclinic Rice Bran Powder Pack
This is a loose powder mask that I'm suppose to mix with milk, honey, or any other liquid to create a paste to apply on my face as a mask. I'm more of a sheet mask kind of person so using this was a little messy. I do like the smell of it since it reminds me of oatmeal and it felt nice on the skin. I probably won't repurchase but I'm happy to have tried it.
4. Miracle 10 Light Serum
I didn't like the scent on this serum so I mainly used it on my neck instead. It had a nice texture to it and it was pretty hydrating too. I wouldn't purchase a full size of it but I wouldn't mind using it again but only as a serum for my neck though. I usually used one pump for my neck area.
5. VELLA Fresh Creamy Soap
This was a really nice cream cleanser that lathered really well on the face. I only needed a little bit every time I used it so this tub of it lasted me for quite a while. I'm not usually a fan of cleansers that I have to scoop out but for this one, I didn't mind it. It had a nice lemon scent to it and my face felt clean and pretty moisturized after using it.
6. Garnier Fructis Color Shield Shine & Care Spray
This was a shine spray that I'm suppose to use after either washing my hair or as a finishing spray for my hair when I style it. I really liked the scent on this and it did help to give my dull hair a bit of shine too.
That's all for my July product empties. Some of the products were a miss for me but I was still able to find ways to use them up. Let me know what you've emptied this month or if you've tried any of these products yourself.

Hi everyone! Today's nail art that I will be sharing is not the best that I've done but I did like how the purple and yellow looked together. Sometimes what I envision in my head doesn't always turn out what I imagined it to be in the end so that was the case here. Anyways, let's see the nail art then.
I used Julep Joy on all the nails except the ring. I stamped with Ya Qin An 26 with stamping plate BP-52 from Born Pretty Store. You can use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your entire order. For the ring nail, I used Sally Hansen Lady Luck. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I was originally going for something else when I was creating this manicure but it didn't turn out how I wanted so I switched ideas. It's not the best that I've done but I do like the look of the yellow floral design on top of the purple a lot. Such an interesting pairing of colors. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! I was in the mood to create something a bit more summer themed for the season right now so I took some brighter colors and created a stamping marble with them. The end result surprised me so let's see the nail art.
I used China Glaze At Vase Value on all my nails. Taking my base polish, China Glaze Shore Enuff, and China Glaze Petal To The Metal, I dotted a few drops of each color onto a surface and swirled it around using my stamper. Then I stamped the design on to my nails. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
This was still a bit messy to create but I'm quite pleased with how they turned out. The swirled marble design kind of reminds me of some kind of summer sorbet too. What do you think?

Hi everyone! The manicure that I'm showing today is a little bit of a fail for me. I did enjoy the base polish I used though so I'm happy that I at least got to wear the color. Let's see the manicure.
I used Misa Dawn Chorus on all the nails. I stamped with Milani White On The Spot with stamping plate BM-H20 from Bundle Monster. I also added a pearl bow stud from Lady Queen on my pinky nail. Use coupon code EGLC15 for 15% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Misa Dawn Chorus is such a gorgeous soft pink. Before applying top coat, the polish actually has a nice satin finish to it too. The stamping didn't turn out the best but the broken looking bubbles kind of work in here. To finish the manicure off, the pearl bow stud on my pinky added an extra cute touch. What do you think?
*Lady Queen sent the pearl bow stud for review purposes. My opinion is 100% honest. Post does contain affiliate links.*

This week's Twinsie Tuesday theme is having someone else do my nails. Unfortunately, I'll have to skip this week's theme since I wasn't able to get another person to do my nails. However, be sure to check out the other ladies' manicures who was able to get this theme done. I'm sure it's going to be some fun posts.

Happy Monday Blues! For today's manicure, its a pretty simple polish drips design that I stamped on. I paired a pink base polish with a vibrant light blue polish drips stamping design and I thought the two colors paired well together to create a pretty cute manicure. Let's see how it looks then.
I used MisQs SP001 on all the nails. I stamped with Ya Qin An 24 with stamping plate BP-29 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
The base polish that I used was a bit sheer on the nails but I tried to make it work. I do really like how the bright blue drips looks against the pink polish though. My clear stamper definitely helped me out so the design was aligned pretty well on my nails. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I've been on a stripes obsession for this week so here's another stripe manicure that I'm sharing today. I paired a peachy pink with some grey on grey stripes and its a combination I'm really liking. I wanted some extra decoration so I threw on one of my favorite bow studs onto the manicure too. Let's see the manicure then.
I used Ciaté Cream Soda on my ring and middle nail. Then I used striping tape to create a simple stripe design and applied American Apparel Factory Grey on top. I peeled off the tape while the polish was still wet to get my stripe design. For some bling, I applied a bow stud from Born Pretty Store on my ring nail. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. For the rest of the nails, I used Nicole by OPI Selena. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I really liked how these turned out and the grey pairs so well with the peachy pink here. Its also been a while since I done any stripes so it was fun to create two stripe manicures this week. The only thing that was disappointing was that when I was applying my top coat, some bubbles came up. What do you think?

Hi everyone! Today I will be sharing a polish swatch with you all. This color that I'm showing has been one I've used and worn a few times already. I tend to like a lot of creme polishes so this is one that I really like and its a brighter color too. Let's see it and hear my thoughts on it.
Nicole by OPI Spring Break is a bright pink creme. This polish was part of the Nicole by OPI Selena Gomez Collection released in Spring 2013. Most of the pinks I have tends to lean on the lighter side but I love that this one is a darker pink but at the same time still vibrant. The formula and application was great, it was nearly a one coater for me. This is two coats.
I love a good creme polish and this one was just that. I think its a great color to wear for the Summer season right now too. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! For today's manicure, I wanted to go for a nautical theme look. I haven't really done any nautical themed manicures before and I've seen a lot of them from other bloggers so that has motivated me to create one. This one is a pretty simple one with just stripes and gold circle nail studs but I plan to try to create more complicated ones in the future. Let's see how they turned out then.
I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls on all the nails. I created the stripes using striping tape and applied American Apparel Downtown LA on the top half and American Apparel Passport Blue on the bottom half of the nails. Peel off the striping tape while the polish is still wet. Then I applied gold circle nail studs from Born Pretty Store on the side of the nails. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
These took a while to create but I'm in love with the end result. The blue and red combination is fun and the addition of the gold circle nail studs really completes the manicure. What do you think?

Hi everyone! For today's post, I'm going to be sharing swatches of a polish. Its been ages since I've done any swatches so I wanted to try to get back into it. Let's see the color then.
China Glaze Riveting is a bright reddish orange jelly packed with metallic golden shimmers in it. This color was released a while ago with The Hunger Games Capital Colors Collection in Spring 2012 but I haven't really used it until recently. The formula and application on this polish was really good for me. The color just glows with the help of metallic golden shimmers in it so its a very fiery color on the nails. This is two coats.
I really missed swatching so I'm going to try to swatch polishes a little more often whenever I can. I haven't really purchased much polishes lately so its always fun to go though my collection and try out colors I haven't used on my nails yet. What do you think of this polish?

Today's Twinsie Tuesday theme is chevrons. It's been a long time since I've created a chevron design so I was very happy to tackle this theme. I went with a green and white combination so let's see how they turned out.
I used Orly Ancient Jade on all the nails. I stamped with Milani White On The Spot with stamping plate BM-423 from Bundle Monster. I also added a silver diamond nail stud from Lady Queen on the ring nail. Use coupon code EGLC15 for 15% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
Lady Queen has a nice variety of nail studs so I was excited to use this diamond shaped one in this manicure. I really like it since its not too big and its adds a nice decoration to the nails. It was my first time stamping on a chevron pattern and even though it didn't turn out completely perfect, I still like how they look. What do you think?

Happy Monday Blues! Today is also my birthday so I'm turning 25. I don't really have anything special planned other than staying in and having a quite day but I hope everyone has a happy 4th of July. The manicure I'm showing today is a gradient and stamping combination so let's see how it looks.
First, I used American Apparel Echo Park on all the nails. Next, I sponged on a simple gradient on the tips of my nails with Avon Galaxy. I stamped with Born Pretty Stamping Nail Polish 7# with stamping plate BP-47 from Born Pretty Store. Use coupon code YCL91 for 10% off your order. Finished with KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat.
I really liked how these nails turned out in the end. The combination of the gradient and the stamping just works so well together. It makes me want to do more of them now. What do you think?

Happy Canada Day! So, here's my product empties for the month of June. This month probably has the least amount of items I used up but at least I was still able to toss a few out. So, let's hear my thoughts on them then.
1. Miracle 10 Cleanser
I got this cleanser in a travel set that Miracle 10 was giving away awhile back. It was a gel cleanser that lathered well on the face so it was my morning cleanser that I used. I didn't particularly like the scent on it and it wasn't anything extraordinary so I probably won't purchase a full size of it.
2. echoice Red Ginseng Eye Wrinkle Solution Treatment
This eye cream took me forever to use up so I'm so happy to have finished it. It was a nice hydrating eye cream and it would be something I would buy again. I used it for both in the morning and at night.
3. Miracle 10 Toner
Another travel size product I received in the same set as the cleanser. I quite liked this toner since it felt nice going on and it dried pretty fast on my skin. I used it as my first step in my skincare routine. It definitely a product I would look into getting a full size of too.
That's it for my product empties for June. Hopefully for next month's empties post, I will have a little more products to show and throw out. Let me know what you've finished this month too.
